Drake and Meek Mill Feud: Rapper Says Nicki Minaj’s Boyfriend Is ‘Dead Already’[VIDEO].

During his performance at D.C.’s Landmark Festival Saturday night, Drake let the crowd know that he’s done talking about Meek—by, naturally, talking about Meek. Drake and Meek Mill’s never ending feud seems to have taken another level, as the rapper said “Meek ‘s already dead” during a music festival concert in Washington.During the Toronto rapper’s set at the Landmark Music Festival in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, Sept. 26, the rowdy crowd began to chant “F— Meek Mill,” TMZ reports. “Don’t worry, he’s dead already,” Drizzy casually responded. As per sources, the dispute between Drake and the Hip-hop artist started back in July when the latter went on a Twitter rant accusing Drake of using a ghostwriter.

The claims led to the pair exchanging diss tracks and barbed jibes over the course of several weeks. “I need, sometimes, individuals to spark an idea so that I can take off running,” Drake said. “Music at times can be a collaborative process, you know? Last week, two months after 2015’s most notorious rap feud started, one again dissed Meek Mill on several verses of his new joint project with Future, What A Time To Be Alive. However, Jahlil Beats, who is the producer of Meek Mill’s ‘Wanna Know’, said that he doesn’t think the feud between the two rapper is over yet. Who came up with this, who came up with that – for me, it’s like, I know that it takes me to execute every single thing that I’ve done up until this point. And I’m not ashamed.” Drake originally responded to the allegations by releasing two new songs – ‘Charged Up’ and ‘Back To Back’ – which, initially, went without reply from his detractors.

There was even a point when Nicki Minaj’s main squeeze took to Instagram and we thought this feud was going to end — but then more shenanigans ensued. The rapper told Fader that he was surprised that his accusers didn’t have a comeback. “This is a discussion about music, and no-one’s putting forth any music?” he said. “You guys are gonna leave this for me to do? You guys didn’t think this through at all – nobody?” Drake continued of the latter song ‘Back To Back': “This has to literally become the song that people want to hear every single night, and it’s gonna be tough to exist during this summer when everybody wants to hear [this] song that isn’t necessarily in [his accusers’] favour.” He added that if Meek Mill’s various rambles on this issue had sparked a wider conversation about originality in hip hop – him being far from the only rapper to use ghostwriters from time to time – he’s happy with that. “If I have to be the vessel for this conversation to be brought up – you know, God forbid we start talking about writing and references and who takes what from where – I’m OK with it being me”.
