The Merry Band of Freaks Trailer: AHS: Hotel.

Lady Gaga’s appearance in the trailer for American Horror Story: Hotel is brief, but she is clearly the star of the latest season of Ryan Murphy’s campy horror series. In anticipation of the “American Horror Story: Hotel” premiere on Oct. 7, FX released the first full trailer for the upcoming season on Thursday with the entire cast.Recently, Lady Gaga officially changed her name on Instagram to The Countess and her bio to “Owner of ‘Hotel’ Cortez in Los Angeles,” and in Ryan Murphy world that is exactly what’s happening.

Titled “Hallways,” the debut trailer races through the halls of the haunted hotel, giving glimpses of each character, including Lady Gaga, in the 30 second video. The show’s stars, including Chloe Sevigny, Matt Bomer, Angela Bassett and Sarah Paulson, are seen roaming the corridors amongst numerous Omen-esque children, mattresses with people sewn in them and blenders filled with blood. As Murphy recently revealed in an interview, Gaga’s Countess — who owns the titular Hotel Cortez — sustains her looks with a diet of sex and blood, but he hesitates to call her (or her lovers, Bomer’s Donovan and Wittrock’s Tristan) vampires. “I prefer the term ‘ancient blood virus,’” Murphy said. “It’s not vampires.

Three of Murphy’s popular television series — Glee, American Horror Story, Scream Queens — have made headlines with their use of music’s biggest stars in the cast. It makes him a prime candidate for the Countess’ charms and he is very willingly seduced and then turned by her.” Bomer’s Donovan, meanwhile, is hoping for happily ever after with the Countess, having been with her for 20 years before Tristan entered the picture. “He’s very interested in domesticity and sort of nesting and hunkering down and having her to himself every now and then, and that doesn’t go over so well with her limitless hunger,” Bomer teased. They performed the title track at the Grammy Awards earlier in the year and two weeks later, Gaga stole the Oscars with her The Sound of Music medley. 2015 may not bring everything that Back to the Future II promised it would: flying cars, self-lacing shoes, we don’t see ’em happening over the next 12 months. (Then again, don’t bet against Nike.) But this year will definitely pack plenty of punch when it comes to cultural happenings. First, he strongly implied to the audience that Jessica Lange will be back for future AHS seasons, but whether that is because she promised she would or because Murphy completely trusts his powers of persuasion we don’t yet know. Mad Max will roar back out of the apocalypse while Mad Men rides off into the sunset, rock’s Antichrist Superstar and hip-hop’s Yeezus will rise again.

Second, he also said every season of AHS is absolutely connected and that he knows when and how the series will resolve itself, at which time the links will all become clear. Republican presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina responded to Donald Trump’s jab at her looks and electability in a Rolling Stone cover story, telling Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Wednesday, “I think those comments speak for themselves.” In the Rolling Stone story, Trump saw Fiorina on TV and remarked, “Look at that face! Are we serious?” While Fiorina called Trump’s remarks “very serious,” she otherwise deflected the comments, downplaying Kelly’s question about the GOP frontrunner’s intentions. “I have no idea,” Fiorina said. “And you know honestly, Megyn, I’m not going to spend a single cycle wondering what Donald Trump means.

But maybe, just maybe, I’m getting under his skin a little bit because I am climbing in the polls.” The remarks in Rolling Stone, however, were not the first time Trump has taunted Fiorina. I’m not talking about look.” The candidate then noted, “When I get criticized constantly about my hair, nobody does a story about, ‘Oh, isn’t that terrible?

Kelly called out Trump for making such statements in interviews, on Twitter and Celebrity Apprentice during the first GOP debate in August. “Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president?” Kelly asked.
