1,000 musicians band together to play Foo Fighters’ ‘Learn to Fly’.

The Rockin’ 1000 — a collective of 1,000 Italian singers, guitarists, bassists and drummers — converged on Cesena, Italy, this past Sunday to play the Foo Fighters’ 1999 hit “Learn to Fly.” “Italy is a country where dreams cannot easily come true,” said Fabio Zaffagnini, the founder of the Rockin’ 1000, in a video posted to YouTube Thursday. “But it’s a land of passion and creativity.One thousand Foo Fighters enthusiasts, also known as the group Rockin ‘1000, came together in Cesena, Italy to perform “Learn To Fly” in hopes of wooing the band to play in Italy’s Romagna region.

The band is slated to play two shows in Italy this November — one in Casalecchio di Reno, which is about an hour away from Cesena, and one in Turin, which is four hours away.
