‘Ungrateful’ Cara Delevingne doesn’t know ‘desperate’ Richard Madden, angry-tweets him anyway.

If Cara Delevingne didn’t know who Richard Madden was before, let’s hope she does now — because he’s apologized to her for a perceived slight he says was taken out of context. Richard Madden has some opinions about Cara Delevingne – and her cringe-worthy “Good Day Sacramento” interview earlier this summer – and they’re not good.

So this is about as improbable as celebrity feuds get, but, we would assess, its seeming “random-ness” gives it a sort of appealing, freewheeling, Mad-Libs-filled-in-by-a-bored-entertainment-editor feel . . . Delevingne was apparently reacting to stories that bubbled up in the United States this week saying the “Game of Thrones” and “Cinderella” actor had slammed the model/actress about an awkward interview she had back in July with a Sacramento morning show. If you’re not capable of doing that gracefully, then don’t do it.” “@_richardmadden I have no idea who you are but I think it’s little desperate for a grown man to be bad mouthing someone they don’t know,” she tweeted. Yes, model and actress Cara Delevingne and actor Richard Madden (best known for playing Robb Stark on Game of Thrones) are ensconced in a feud, which is now playing out, as most celebrity feuds tend to, on Twitter.

Misquoted and blown out of proportion. #SlowNewsWeek.” And he’s right: With the Emmy Awards coming Sunday — “GoT” was nominated for 15 Emmys this year — celebrity news is very slow. She also retweeted a jpeg created by one of her fan accounts in which a picture of her face is emblazoned with the words “Richard, what’s good?,” an homage, of course, to Nicki Minaj’s declaration to Miley Cyrus, on stage at the Video Music Awards, which was actually also related to critical comments (Cyrus had) made in the press.

There, the anchors talk-talk-talked their way into questions and the notably low-energy “Paper Towns” star cracked a couple of dry jokes as she launched into her replies and struggled to focus on the camera during the apparently blind remote. After a while, she noted that it was morning and the premiere had been the night before, and then the woman anchor who’d called her Carla at first said, “We’ll let you go then.” Next, apparently surprised that the feed of Delevingne had cut off and gone to color bars after being let go, the anchors went a little nutty slamming her for being sarcastic, irritated and “in a mood” during the interview. We can only imagine what the Style writer was talking to Madden about that set up his very quotable quote about a few minutes on an American news program.
