Don’t call The Martian star Donald Glover if you get lost in space.

Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain have starred in two of the biggest science-fiction films of the last year, Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar and Ridley Scott’s forthcoming The Martian. “Each time I get to do a few more scenes with Jessica. “It kind of feels like we never left,” he told THR of shooting the next ‘Bourne’ installment with ‘Bourne Ultimatum’ director Paul Greengrass after nine years. “Hopefully we’re not too rusty.” Though celebrating the world premiere of The Martian at the Toronto Film Festival, Matt Damon is a week into production on the next installment of the Bourne franchise. “I shot last night and flew here, but it’s going great so far,” he told The Hollywood Reporter before the Martian’s debut.

Jessica Chastain and Damon costar in the upcoming film The Martian, marking their second intergalactic-themed movie together, after working on 2014’s Interstellar.Matt Damon stars in The Martian, but Ridley Scott’s new film is loaded with one of the year’s biggest casts: Jessica Chastain, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jeff Daniels, Michael Pena, Kate Mara, Sebastian Stan, Donald Glover, and more support Damon in the new movie.

As Whatney uses his smarts to survive, his crew and the earthbound NASA scientists devise ways to bring him home. “When I met the screenwriter, Drew Goddard, he said he wanted the movie to be a love-letter to science,” Damon said. “I think that it is. Maybe down the line?” he explained. “But I’d have to see Black Mass too — it’s getting great reviews, and if it’s kind of a seminal Whitey Bulger story, there’s no reason to tell that story twice.” However, Damon added, “The idea that Ben and I have for making this gangster movie that we were talking about could apply to someone who wasn’t Whitey Bulger too.” Watch the video above for more on Glover’s role as the “science geek” of the film and why you shouldn’t call him for help if you’re lost in space.

According to the rules of the dystopian society in which he lives, adults who are without a partner must find one in 45 days or be transformed into animals and sent into the wild. What I really wanted to ask her, before she launched into the romantic themes of the story, was what she thought the single people of the world might think of this film.

Couldn’t the story be perceived as a metaphor for finding true love in mid life, a time where many people feel they’re forced to choose between settling or being alone forever? In case you’re wondering what the F a dystopian universe is, it’s Greek terminology for an imaginary community or society that is undesirable or frightening. Like many of the media on the carpet (the women among us anyway), I wondered if Colin Farrell, who stars alongside Weisz in the film, might make a surprise appearance despite not being listed as a confirmed guest. Based on the novel by Andy Weir, it’s the story of Astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) who becomes stranded on Mars during a manned mission to the red planet.
