‘Zoolander 2’ trailer proves sequel will be at least … 3 times bigger.

The new trailer for Zoolander 2– or 2oolander, if you want to let the title treatment have its way—is jam-packed with celebrity cameos, but we’re still a little too shellshocked on Benedict Cumberbatch’s appearance to talk about much else. And while all the usual suspects – including Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson as Derek Zoolander and Hansel – are present and correct in the clip – it also offers up a few surprises.

As expected, the trailer is filled with hilarious one-liners, lots of pursed lips and, of course, some really good looking people—you know, like Justin Bieber The actor’s cameo in the film had been reported when he joined the Rome set in the spring, but I’m not sure anyone was prepared for the long wig that makes him so deliberately , unnervingly androgynous. “All is all,” indeed. Yup, that’s the man himself, playing a hot new catwalk model in the sequel – and one who leaves Derek and Hansel bemused as they tried to figure out if he’s male or female. Zoolander 2 — or 2oolander, according to its title card, a name that’s as smartly stupid as the first movie’s best jokes (so it’s pronounced two-oo-lander?) — picks up over a decade after the original, in a fashion world that’s changed enormously from the one Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) once knew.

Elsewhere in the trailer, it’s basically business as usual for beautiful dummies Derek (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson), who are assigned by Penelope Cruz to investigate who is killing the world’s most beautiful people (Justin Bieber included). Biebs shared a clip of a sharp-looking Derek, who said: “Justin Bieber asked me to promote his album, Purpose, I said ‘of course’, because I want more Instagram followers.” The What Do You Mean? hit maker, who is also appearing in the new movie – which was co-written with Justin Theroux – tweeted: “Thanks Derek. We’d be here all day if we tried to list all of the other famous people who pop up in this trailer or on the stacked IMDB cast list, so we’re just going to get back to hoping that Cumberbatch’s All manages to get in on the action somehow. Press play for the full trailer, which features a few glimpses of the sequel’s exotic locales and new players — including Kristen Wiig, Kyle Mooney and Justin Bieber, giving his best Blue Steel — as well as a couple very welcome familiar faces. (Apparently, Todd (Nathan Lee Graham) still isn’t aware that Mugatu (Will Ferrell) gets farty and bloated with a foamy latte.)
