Kaitlyn Bristowe Tries on Wedding Dresses, Bets $1,000 She Will Not Break Up With Fiancé Shawn Booth.

After Monday’s The Bachelorette finale revealed that Shawn Booth had proposed, the newly engaged couple appeared on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! to discuss their relationship and future plans together.

Bachelorette lovebirds Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth were guests Monday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, shortly after their romance went public in the ABC dating show’s finale. But newly engaged Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristow, 30, stepped out head to toe wearing black as she made her way to the Jimmy Kimmel show in Los Angeles on Monday, the same day the series’ nail-biting finale aired. On the season finale of “The Bachelorette” Monday night, 29-year-old dancer Kaitlyn Bristowe accepted a marriage proposal from 28-year-old personal trainer Shawn Booth, naming him the winner of the season.

Prior to their appearance, in a pre-taped segment that kicked off the episode, Bristowe went wedding dress shopping with host Jimmy Kimmel and sidekick/parking lot security guard Guillermo Rodriguez. “For Guillermo and I, fashion is our passion,” Kimmel joked. “So we decided to pitch in and do what we do best, which is to take Kaitlyn to buy a wedding dress.” Together, the trio headed to a bridal salon in West Hollywood. And they vowed not to end up like so many other Bachelor and Bachelorette couples – even wagering money that they’ll be married, or at least still together, a year from now. “Twice a year for like 13 years now, we’ve seen people get together. The ABC reality series came to a tense finale when the brunette beauty admitted she was in love with Shawn Booth, 28 – AND his love rival, 34 -year-old Nick Viall. Bristowe said she didn’t want a “poofy” gown, but she did hope to find a dress that was “lacy,” “bohemian” and “sexy—but not too sexy.” After Lovely Bride owner Rebekah Charles said she had some non-traditional color options for Bristowe to consider, Kimmel joked, “I think that’s very rude.

They come on the show and they seem to be very much in love … And then the next thing we know, we see them on the cover of a magazine with a tear down the center,” Kimmel said. The nail biting live finale came from Los Angeles and during the show they were seen being introduced to Kaitlyn’s family, and going on their final date together. This was all very dramatic and surprising — except for the fact that it wasn’t at all, because Kaitlyn actually spoiled the results of the show online weeks ago. So, he had them repeat some comical vows in which they promised to stay together for at least a year – and if they don’t, they have to pay him $1,000 (either as a lump sum or, he joked, in monthly installments of $2.77 for 30 years).

The video below has everything — Kimmel and sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez wearing bridesmaid dresses, Kimmel wearing Bristowe’s leather leggings, Bristowe dressing for the “hooker ballet,” Bristowe fronting like she knows what “bohemian” means, and more. Nick, a software sales executive, was at the heart of one of the most controversial moments on the series when he returned from being the runner up last season to court Kaitlyn – beating off competition from 23 other suitors. ABC wouldn’t comment on the video, and when asked about it later, Kaitlyn dodged the question and coyly joked that she had actually been in bed with Ryan Gosling. We are very offended by this.” The bride-to-be played along and told Charles, “I’ve had enough.” Rodriguez then complimented Bristowe’s figure. “Isn’t he a horny little sweetheart?” Kimmel joked.

That’s likely because ABC generally goes to great lengths to ensure that the “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” seasons, taped months in advance of when the show actually airs, go unspoiled. I really needed all this time with you.’ As he left alone by limo he angrily ranted: ‘It’s like a f***ing joke, I am the world’s biggest joke,’ before being seen throwing the emerald-cut diamond ring. Not only is it a contractual obligation, but several contestants have revealed the elaborate measures they take to secretly see each other before they’re allowed to reveal their love to the world. On the finale Monday night, Kaitlyn told host Chris Harrison it feels like Christmas knowing that she and Shawn can now finally act like an everyday couple and hang out with family and friends. “We can’t wait to go to Starbucks!” she said, relishing in the potential act of normalcy. Kaitlyn accepted the 6’2″ hunk’s proposal, telling him in return: ‘The truth is you light me up and you make me laugh and most importantly you allow me to be myself. ‘I know that this has not been easy on you.

Charles suggested Bristowe try something “more glamorous,” prompting a bored Kimmel and Rodriguez to try on several different bridesmaids dresses. “It’s really flattering in the breast area.
