Teresa Giudice got her first visit in prison from Joe and their four daughters this past weekend, Us Weekly can confirm — find out why they didn’t stop by sooner; plus, get more details from her life in prison.Teresa Giudice has been in jail for almost three weeks, and her oldest daughter Gia Giudice says that her mom is “doing amazing.” Gia recently sat down with Access Hollywood to chat about life without her mom, who was sentenced to 15 years behind bars in a federal fraud case. “I knew it was coming, and I mean like, my sisters, were okay. News her mother looked “so amazing” during the family’s first visit to the Danbury, Conn., facility where Teresa is serving a 15-month prison sentence for fraud. The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star’s former crisis manager, Wendy Feldman, told Page Six the prison’s commissary sells makeup to its inmates, so Teresa — known for her big hair and dramatic makeup — has access to cosmetics. “She can wear makeup inside,” Feldman insisted days before Teresa’s Jan. 5 surrender. “That’s a misnomer that she’ll have no makeup on … Maybe they don’t have her type of makeup but they’ll have makeup that’s suitable for her.” According to a prison commissary list from last year, inmates can choose from among several foundations, drugstore brand Wet & Wild’s face products, eyeliner, mascara and numerous lip glosses.

This was the first time Teresa, 42, got to see her family since she reported to Danbury, Connecticut’s Federal Correctional Institution on Jan. 5, for her 15-month sentence. It was really just me because I was older, I was 13 at the time, and I did understand.” During her brief interview, Gia also shared that she’s going to follow in the footsteps of her mother and plans to star in her own reality show. “That’s why I was so for it because it was positive and I always make sure it’s positive and just puts out good energy,” Gia insisted. During her incarceration, her husband Joe, 44, has been taking care of matters at home with their daughters Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5.

She is depending on correspondence with her family to keep her going, but otherwise, she’s handling things much better than most people thought that she would. “She’s doing great.
