Jenelle Evans Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges After Alleged Altercation With Ex-Fiance Nathan Griffith: See Her Latest Mugshot.

After the Myrtle Beach police in South Carolina put a warrant out for ‘ arrest on Wednesday, May 27, the Teen Mom 2 star, 23, turned herself into the cops on Thursday. Griffith told police that Evans had called him from a blocked number requesting that he come outside, which he did because she said she was damaging his car. Griffith said that when he came outside Evans said “Now I know where you live!” The victim told police he smelled alcohol on his ex and believed she was intoxicated.

According to Griffith, this is when Evans began “slapping, punching, and trying to kick [him] down the stairs.” He also claims that Evans tried to hit him in the face and provoke him but he did not fight back, even after she tried choking him with his shirt and digging her nails into him. TMZ reports that Evans allegedly attacked, choked, slapped, and punched 27-year-old Griffith and tried to kick him down a flight of stairs in his own home. Following the incident, Evans retweeted her official PR account handle saying that Griffith had tried to run over her with his car, but her lawyer Amy S. Lawrence told a different story to Us Weekly. “She’s just…I think that in her heart she thought that maybe with them breaking up that they would get back together because they have a child together,” Lawrence said after confirming the MTV star wasn’t seeking medical treatment. “And I think she’s just very hurt that he has moved on.” “He will do everything that he can to get these charges dismissed for Jenelle,” Lawrence continued. “He understands that she’s hurt because they’ve broken up, and he’s dating somebody else and things escalated in a way they shouldn’t have.

Evans stood outside Griffith’s apartment screaming, “He has my phone!” and “He won’t give me back my son!” The report states that she eventually left the scene but continued to call Griffith. The reality personality did take to Twitter, retweeting statements from the Jenelle Evans PR account. “Nathan ran over Jenelle with his truck before the incident in the police report.

And in January 2012, Jenelle was taken into custody twice for violating a domestic violence protective order because she made harassing phone calls and threats to an unidentified individual. Jenelle is seeking charges & is ready to get the truth out,” according to the account. “Neighbors called the police after witnessing Nathan run Jenelle over. For those asking,Jenelle was at Nathan’s to pick up her son.Nathan stole her phone & refused to hand over Kaiser. This is how it started.” This incident comes just days after Evans and Griffith were spotted together at NYC’s Electric Daisy Carnival festival, posing together in an Instagram photo.
