Taylor Swift & Steven Tyler Sing Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing”: Watch.

Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour has already witnessed a steady stream of all-star guests joining the singer onstage, and Friday night’s concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena was no exception as Swift was joined by Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler to perform the band’s 1998 smash “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.” Tyler and Swift traded verses on the rousing, pyrotechnic-filled rendition, which closed out with the two singers dancing together onstage. “I don’t know what else to say but when you’ve sold over 150 million albums with your band, when you have become an absolute rock n’ roll icon,” Swift told the crowd before introducing Tyler. “The person that’s about to come out on stage has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with his band Aerosmith. The country-turned-pop superstar has been inviting a series of special guests to perform onstage with her during her 1989 world tour stops, and she didn’t disappoint in Music City, taking the opportunity to bring Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, Alison Krauss and rising young star Kelsea Ballerini out to sing with her.

Ballerini hit the stage first, emerging from the wings to join Swift in performing her debut single, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” which launched her to virtually overnight success when it reached No. 1 on Billboard‘s US Country Airplay chart in July. This was to be expected; as The Tennessean points out, he was already in town and is recording a country album for Taylor’s label Big Machine Records. She gave a very confident and poised performance, winning over the fans at the Bridgestone Arena with her vocal chops and stage presence, which you can check out in the video above. Her whole 1989 era has been about positioning herself as a bonafide “pop star,” but last night’s cameos allowed us to reminisce over who she once was.

Mad Max will roar back out of the apocalypse while Mad Men rides off into the sunset, rock’s Antichrist Superstar and hip-hop’s Yeezus will rise again. She posted to Instagram after the show, sharing her excitement at sharing the spotlight with the angelic-voiced singer: Swift’s current tour has also featured appearances from Justin Timberlake and Selena Gomez, Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines (for “Goodbye Earl“) and Sam Hunt, who performed “Take Your Time” with her. The Band Perry joined her in Indianapolis to perform their hit, “If I Die Young,” and she also brought former Friends star Lisa Kudrow onstage for a duet on the comedy classic “Smelly Cat.” Most recently, Dierks Bentley came out onstage in Kansas City to perform his hit, “Every Mile a Memory,” with the superstar. A++…EPIC SHOW…UNTIL NEXTIME…” Tyler, who recently segued into country music, further posted, “HOLY SWIFT!!! @TAYLORSWIFT13 …SHINED SO HOT N BRIGHT SHE MADE THE SUN JEALOUS!!!
