Let’s Enjoy Another Manic Musical T-Swift Mash-Up.

In Todrick Hall’s latest cover video, the MTV star and former American Idol season 9 contestant mashes up your favorite Swift songs. (We don’t want to give it all away, but plenty of 1989 tracks and old school favorites made the cut.) Swift herself reacted to the epic clip early Wednesday, tweeting, “I honestly can’t believe what I just saw. Hall’s video includes clips from “Blank Space,” “Love Story,” How You Get The Girl,” Never Grow Up,” “You Belong With Me,” “Red,” Mine,” “Style,” Bad Blood,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” Out of the Woods,” “We Are Never Getting Back Together,” “Wildest Dreams,” “Shake It Off,” Mean, “Welcome To New York,” “22,” “Picture To Burn,” “Teardrops On My Guitar,” and “This Love.” Hall became famous when he made it to the semi-finals on the ninth season of “American Idol.” Since then, he’s gained popularity for his YouTube videos, including a Beyonce flash mob in the middle of a Target and a reinvention of “The Wizard of Oz” with a capella group Pentatonix. Now that you’ve had a few soothing days of his take on 1989, feel free to refresh/expand your music appetite with a cover mashup from none other than YouTube sensation Todrick Hall. Many of Hall’s best videos riff on Disney princesses and their love songs, and so really this is just another variation on that theme because isn’t T-Swift just practically perfect in every way? “4 Taylor,” which is titled such presumably because it’s a tribute to T-Swift featuring Todrick four times over, blazes through much of her discography, covering — well, actually, it’s difficult to keep track of how many songs are included because the results are so infectious that you lose track and find yourself singing along no matter how hard you try to concentrate. I [heart emoji] @toddyrockstar.” Swift regularly gives her blessing to covers – most recently, the “Wildest Dreams” singer showed her support for musician Ryan Adams’ 1989 cover album.

Thanks to the powers of the internet, his latest masterpiece quickly made its way to the hands (and ears) of Tay Tay herself and well, here’s what she had to say: He records four separate versions of the mashup all the way through, singing different parts and doing different dance moves, and when he puts it all together it really looks like there are identical quadruplets performing on the screen. My favorite parts are when the four Todricks interact, like when he sings the “throwing pebbles” line in “Love Story,” and three of the Todricks duck while the one on the left throws an imaginary pebble over their heads.
