Sharon Osbourne Collapses From Exhaustion, Takes Leave Of Absence From ‘The Talk’.

The TV personality and wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne “collapsed from mental and physical fatigue” upon returning home to Los Angeles last Friday night after a busy trip to New York and Toronto, her rep told People. “Sharon has been advised and has agreed to take a month hiatus to recover fully from these recent events,” Osbourne’s spokesperson said. “Sharon would like to thank everyone at ‘The Talk’ for granting her this time off and to all friends, family and others for their incredible support.” Osbourne’s doctors say she is suffering from “extreme exhaustion” and believe that she returned to work too soon after being hospitalized earlier this year for pneumonia. Over the past 24 hours, Osbourne has only tweeted photos of her with husband Ozzy and her with daughter Kelly, who filled in for Sharon on “The Talk” while the former “Fashion Police” host’s mother received treatment for pneumonia. Her representative also indicates that she didn’t have time to fully recover from her illness before getting back to work, which plays a part in her recent exhaustion. Sharon blamed herself shortly after learning of her son’s disease, which has already left him with 60 percent vision loss in one eye, along with dizziness, tremors, and extreme fatigue. “I kept thinking: ‘What did I do wrong, what did I eat or drink when I was pregnant?’ I feel like it’s somehow my fault.

If it was me, you’d think: ‘Ozzy had a reputation and it caught up with him’, but Jack is such a good guy.” Meanwhile, MTV recently announced an upcoming pilot series, Fancy Bastards, an animated half-hour comedy show in which Sharon Osbourne will co-star alongside Brittany Snow, Jessica Lowe, Natasha Leggero, Nasim Pedrad, John Roberts, and daughter Kelly Osbourne. With more than 40 years in the entertainment business as a music manager, talent show judge, reality show star, and talk show host, Sharon Osbourne has many fans and supporters of all ages wishing her a speedy recovery.
