Selena Gomez Makes a Splash in a High-Cut Swimsuit.

Donning a black one-piece, Gomez put a lot more than her enviable figure on display – her high-cut swimsuit also revealed tattoos on her upper thighs. One of our favorite former Disney darlings flaunted her new tattoos during a day out in the ocean wearing what can only be described as the world’s sexiest one-piece swimsuit. The “Same Old Love” singer, 23, rocked the skimpy garment, only $48 at American Apparel, all the better to reveal a new tattoo of the om symbol high up on her thigh. And it’s safe to say that all eyes are on SelGo for more than just her beach pics—she’s got Hotel Transylvania 2 hitting theaters on Sept. 25 and her highly anticipated album Revival is set to drop on Oct. 9.

Gomez’s swimwear comes on the heels of the high-cut one-piece bathing suit’s apparent rise once again, as it’s been spotted on multiple celebs, including Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Rihanna and Beyonce. The tattoo on the right side of the ‘Come and Get It’ hit-maker’s hip appears to be cursive writing, while a tiny “Om” symbol is inked on her left side. In a candid interview, the star revealed she’s putting relationships on the back burner. “Finding somebody is not my main focus,” she said. “I’ve dated people. News recently caught up with the brunette beauty and she dished about how excited she is for her fans to see (and hear!) what she’s been working on. “I feel like I’m a pregnant woman at nine months and I just want the baby to come out already because it means the world to me, and it’s so great for me to actually be heard,” Gomez explained. “You’re supposed to go through growing pains.

Gomez, who’s currently promoting her new album, Revival, which drops in October, is clearly flaunting her hot bod on the beach in the statement swimwear, which makes sense, given her recent self-esteem boost. “I feel very empowered and confident in where I am,” she said on On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Sept. 11. “I think it took me a long while to get there because the past year was so interesting because I’ve never been body-shamed before. But I’ve never wanted to get into anything serious, because I kind of did that.” Gomez was even more frank when she sat down for a radio interview on L.A.’s Power 106 earlier this month, addressing criticism of her figure after a bikini-filled trip to Mexico in April. “It’s not even about my weight,” she said. “It’s just not that I’m not going to give a f— what people, sorry, I’m not going to care. You know, I don’t care at this point that people have seen my mistakes because I’m a human being.” The “Good for You” singer also admitted that she’s come a long way over the years, adding, “I’m very comfortable in my skin. Which songs are dedicated to those fans? “Most of them,” she declared. “‘Survivors,’ ‘Rise,’ “Revival’ and ‘Kill ‘Em with Kindness.’ I want them to have their own interpretation. ‘Kill ‘Em with Kindness’ is such a universal message, so ultimately I want my fans to be able to feel like it’s their record. …

They’ve all experienced the things I’ve experienced in my life.” Watch the interview, above, to hear Gomez discuss Revival, her 2016 tour for the first time, details about such songs as “Me & the Rhythm” and “Revival,” as well as her mindset.
