8 ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Questions The Summer Of Answers Needs To Address, Besides “Who Is Charles DiLaurentis?”.

Neither do we. PRETTY LITTLE LIARS – ABC Family’s “Pretty Little Liars” stars Shay Mitchell as Emily Fields, Ashley Benson as Hanna Marin, Troian Bellisario as Spencer Hastings and Lucy Hale as Aria Montgomery. (ABC Family/Andrew Eccles) After being promised a #summerofanswers as the show prepares to time jump midseason, we’ve gotten what’s more like a summer of once in a while an answer, but more often some additional questions about Lesli Stone, who we didn’t really care about besides her cool glasses, and then some answers about her that don’t really get us any closer to solving the A mystery.A lover of genre shows (like Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries) and quality dramas (like The Good Wife and Homeland), Clarissa provides on set and event coverage as well as news, spoilers and reviews for all things TV and movies. We now know that Big A himself, Charles DiLaurentis, is alive, and that he’s returning home to Rosewood to confront the father that shipped him off to Radley — and perhaps the liars for one final showdown at prom.

Though the scene took place in the summer, the PLL pilot was filmed in Vancouver, Canada, so the girls are all bundled up in their puffer jackets. (Production has since moved to sunny Los Angeles.) With only three more weeks until the summer finale, PLL is promising that A – and Charles DiLaurentis, who is, imagine that, ALIVE! – will be unmasked soon. But the Liars, including Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario), are giving the teen fiend some visitors, and she looks a little shock-eyed about the whole thing.

Marlene King has promised that Charlies DiLaurentis is indeed A, and that by the end of the summer we’ll have answers to all our questions, including the identities of Black Widow and Red Coat. In the next episode, Spencer and Toby (Keegan Allen) reunite as Ali’s dad tries to take his family out of town before Charles’ probably bloody birthday bash.

While we don’t have too much scoop on tonight’s plot—besides that, like winter, Charles is coming—we do have a behind-the-scenes look at the PLL actors getting themselves ready to shoot. Check out this child’s-eye view of Mona’s bedroom, sans roof! (The better to soundstage, my dears.) Plus, see Travis Winfrey and getting into costume to play Officers Lorenzo and Toby, respectively—such handsome chaps.

Because while Charles is undoubtedly “Big A” — aka the person who took the game over from Mona back in the day — it turns out there may also be an additional … “Uber A.” What does this mean? It’s definitely worth a re-watch in order to pick up on little clues about A’s real identity, but there is one clue you might not have noticed the first time around. It gives us an excuse to spend hours browsing Tumblr for theories and debating with our friends about what’s most likely to happen next (and as for our friends who don’t watch Pretty Little Liars… well, they know better than to bother us on a Tuesday night).

We were all fooled by the writer’s! and it seemslike they are not done on giving us spooky revelations as Kenneth DiLaurentis found a very lovely card from his estranged son. When asked about the possibility in interviews surrounding the “Big A” reveal earlier this year, King gave neither explicit confirmation or denial. “I’m not going to tell you just yet because that might ruin it down the line,” King told EW in March. “I’m not going to comment on Uber ‘A.’” The non-answer has driven many “PLL” fans to speculate that there is an Uber A involved in the show’s web of lies, and to develop a variety of theories as to who that might be. There are so many things to consider!” Well, you’re right — there are plenty of things to consider when deciding whether or not you and Emily are meant to be together forever. We’ve been promised a big reveal in the finale (I’ll believe it when I see it), but for now, I’d like to get some answers to these pressing questions.

So there’s Big A, who should not be confused with Uber A, plus the countless other people who have technically been cleared but could still definitely be working for A. Marlene King told Us. “As Alison and the PLLs get closer to learning A’s identity, our masked stalker chooses to end the game with a bang,” she said, while promising that there will still be plenty of humor in the episodes, too. (Never forget #DrugFreeDean.) Tune into PLL Tuesdays at 8 p.m.

Remember, Emily’s a serial monogamist, so it probably won’t fly if you to try and go after other ladies when you’re trying to forge the ~*b0nds of l0v3*~. I get that Ali isn’t Rosewood’s sweetest or most beloved resident, but does she really deserve to have an entire fleet of people after her and her friends?

According to this user, the song Mona is playing is titled “Paris Skies A,” and was reportedly performed by Eve Lousieau, who performs Edith Piaf songs. Edward Jay is also credited on the track, and the Reddit user mentioned that the song seemed to be produced for the show, as it cannot be found on any streaming service. Maybe if the cops would actually do their jobs, the Liars wouldn’t resort to ridiculous tactics like sneaking into abandoned mental institutions in search of answers. Emily met up with Sara’s friends back in Season 4 and one of them described her as a terrible person, even going as far as to say she wished Sara was dead.

When translated from French, the word l’oiseau (the same name as the last name of the performer) means “bird.” It’s not the only bird reference within the song — “jay” is the name of a type of bird. Stitchers stars Emma Ishta as Kirsten Clark, Kyle Harris as Cameron Goodkin, Ritesh Rajan as Linus Ahluwalia, Salli Richardson-Whitfield as Maggie Baptiste, and Allison Scagliotti as Camille Engelson. OK, once I can understand, but with all these people seemingly rising from the dead, perhaps the Rosewood PD should revisit their process for declaring someone deceased. The Liars have gotten a lot of mileage out of their LBDs, mainly because they’ve repeatedly attended funerals for girls who’ve turned out to be very much alive.
