Anonymous hacker group uncovers Islamic State threat against WWE event in US.

Hacker group Anonymous had claimed terrorists are plotting a worldwide day of terror, with the secretive collective naming Sunday night’s huge show as a possible target following attacks on Paris on 13th November.Security has been stepped up after ISIS terror thugs reportedly threatened to attack a WWE professional wrestling event tonight, where thousands of sports fans are expected to attend.

After reports that onling group Anonymous uncovered information of a possible attack, the group tweeted on Sunday that they had nothing to do with the rumors.The International Business Times reported Saturday Anonymous uncovered a terror plot from the extremist group to attack the U.S., Indonesia, Italy and Lebanon as well as Paris on Sunday. The wrestling company will be hosting their annual Survivor Series extravaganza at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia and Triple H has confirmed it will go ahead. While we take all threats seriously, we do not have specific or credible information of an attack at this time,” FBI told Channel 2 news regarding the threat. “We have, however, made the proper notifications as we continue to work closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to keep our community safe,” the government agency added. However, Director of the Georgia Emergency Management Agency said that the threat was not ‘credible’ and that the venue was on a list IS made of potential targets, Fox News reported.

Wrestling star Triple H – whose real name is Paul Levesque – released a statement on Twitter explaining that further security measures will be in place. He added, however, “in light of the world we live in, we take the suggested possibility of attacks seriously,” WWE and Philips Arena released a joint statement confirming there wasn’t “specific information involving a threat against” the event but will increase security to ensure the safety of its guests. We have purposely not shared account links publicly because they would be shut down immediately and then no one would believe the proof.” Apart from the Atlanta Stadium, Anonymous also claimed that IS planned on attacking the Feast of Christ celebration in Rome and worldwide, Al-Jihad, 1 Day Juz in Indonesia, Five Finger Death Punch in Milan, Italy, and University Pastoral Day in Lebanon. IS militants, who use a number of encrypted apps an internet services to communicate and use social media under the radar, have hit back at Anonymous’ attempts at declaring a cyber war, branding them ‘idiots’.
