Rebel Wilson ‘dating comedian’.

As “Pitch Perfect 2” soared to the top of the box office over the weekend, earning a whopping $70 million debut and leaving “Max Max: Fury Road” in the dust, Australia’s Woman’s Day magazine was preparing to blow the lid off lies she allegedly fed the public. And now it’s been claimed that the 29-year-old has made it official with her new beau. “They get along really well, they respect each other’s work,” an insider told US Weekly. “She’s been too busy to date for awhile, they’ve been texting often and they’ve been spending some time together in L.A. and New York.” In the image Rebel posted on Instagram on Saturday, Mickey can be seen with his arm around her shoulders as they both wear Rangers shirts. Wilson hasn’t responded to this new report but we loved her tongue-in-cheek tweets after Woman’s Day published a story claiming she had been telling a few porkies. Here’s the laundry list of tall tales reportedly distributed by the actress since her days as a “Bridesmaid.” As of today, Wilson is 35, and definitely not 29.

The Australian actress has a look of joy on her face and she captioned the black and white shot: “#RangerDanger, Let’s go NY! (sic)”. “You have to sacrifice relationships because you work, and now I travel all around the world,” she told Australia’s Elle magazine. “I’m constantly moving and constantly travelling and so it’s really hard to maintain a relationship in that kind of environment. An old Tara Anglican School for Girls classmate in North Parramatta, Sydney, came forward with the mind-blowing information. “She’s 36 – she was born in 1979 and we left school in 1997,” the old classmate source told the magazine.

The magazine’s source confirmed that Wilson once went by a totally different name. “No one knew of a Rebel Wilson,” the source shared, providing an old school photo as proof. “Her name is – or was – Melanie Elizabeth Bownds.” Wilson told the same story to Caroline Overington, a journalist with The Australian Women’s Weekly in a separate interview. Probably the harshest criticism aimed directly for the star’s talent. “She was definitely not the class clown; none of us remember her being funny,” her former schoolmate shared.
