Former child stars Kim Richards arrested.

Kim Richards was charged with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest and battery on a police officer and arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — Kim Richards — one of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” — has been arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. The 50-year-old Bravo-lebrity was greeted with concern and well wishes from her cast mates while her 46-year-old little sister Kyle lashed at the media writing: ‘Please stop with the invented, inaccurate stories.’ Despite questioning Kim’s sobriety throughout the majority of the latest seventh season of RHOBH, newcomers Lisa and Eileen expressed their heartfelt reactions to their co-star’s arrest.

Rinna was criticized early Thursday for posting, ‘just laugh, just laugh all day long,’ on her Twitter page hours before news of Kim’s arrest was made public. Those who watch the Bravo reality show are well aware that Kim has been very open about struggling with substance abuse issues in the past, and just recently during the show’s reunion, Richards reassured fans that she has been sober for three years.

Hoshino adds, “Hotel security requested to make a Private Persons Arrest and BHPD (Beverly Hills Police Department) officers entered the restroom and took her into custody. Right now Kim needs help,” and adds, “She and [sisters] Kyle Richards and Kathy [Hilton] are in my prayers and have my full support.” Meanwhile, castmate and new RHOBH member Eileen Davidson, who had a rough interaction with Richards during this last season, took to Twitter to share her well wishes for the reality star. “I feel badly for Kim Richards and her family my thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.” Lisa Vanderpump tweeted, “U can’t help somebody til they want to help themselves,I know for sure that the sisters will always support each other when the time comes.” Kim’s BFF Brandi Glanville has not directly addressed the arrest, but did tweet something that may or may not be related to the incident. “Real friends are their in the good times, the bad times &especially the worst times.I am blessed with real friends & am a real friend myself,” she wrote. Security had repeatedly asked her to leave, Subin said, but she was combative and ended up being placed under arrest for trespassing at around 1:30 a.m. Tennessee got its own dose of Mad Men when women’s health supporters dressed in 1960s garb inspired by the AMC series to protest against an abortion bill that would mandate a 48-hour waiting period for women seeking an abortion, as well as force new, medically unnecessary requirements on doctors performing the procedure. “I love a good vintage look—but not when it’s running the state legislature,” Lauren Shuler, of Franklin, Tenn., who attended the protest told Glamour magazine. “That is why we are here to remind these politicians who continue to insist that they should be the ones who decide if and when women can access abortion in Tennessee. These politicians think they know better than a woman and her doctor.” “We’re here to say to state legislators who want to turn the clock back to the 1950s: We like watching Mad Men,” Francie Hunt, a senior field manager for Planned Parenthood of Middle and East Tennessee, said in a released statement. “Women’s preventive care—including abortion—is basic health care.

During the booking process, she resisted the fingerprinting and being forced to take a mug shot, and then kicked an officer in the leg, Subin continued. Hotel security was reporting an intoxicated female, later determined to be television personality Kim Richards, causing a disturbance at a hotel restaurant. ‘While being escorted off the property, Richards requested to use the restroom then refused to leave. In a February 17 blog entry on Bravo.com – titled ‘I Shouldn’t Have To Defend My Actions’ – Kim wanted to address her sobriety to her fans and followers. ‘I wish people would just stop trying to intrude in my life and “fix” a problem that doesn’t exist.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but yes, I made a mistake when I took Monty’s pain pill to relieve the chronic pain from my injuries, and yes, I am still sober and strong mentally and physically.’ Further writing: ‘I don’t need Kyle to be there for me every single moment of every single day. The reason why these ladies don’t know everything about this integral part of my life is because I don’t shout it out on the rooftops, and I choose to be private about some things (because this is what works for me).’
