English rose! Pixie Lott wows in red figure-hugging dress as she performs in front of the Queen and Royal Family at the Festival of Remembrance.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked sombre and dignified as members of the Royal Family honoured the nation’s war dead in a Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph in central London. It was driven by a widely felt need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those whose lives were lost in the First World War, however has now expanded to cover all conflicts. Sources say Kate so loves growing organic vegetables at her Norfolk estate, Anmer Hall, she is preparing the ground for a food brand with an appropriate title such as Anmer Organics.

Prince Charles’s brand encompasses more than 200 products, featuring everything from bacon and jam to beer and ciders, and has generated huge amounts of money for charitable causes over the past two decades. Dressed in a sombre black coat and fascinator, she observed the two minutes silence with grace and stood proud as she sang hymns which paid tribute to those who have fought for their country in past, and those who will do so in the future. Also present was King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands who laid a wreath following an invitation from the Queen to mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands after the end of the Second World War. One day Prince William will want to have a profitable business attached to his estate to generate funds – both charitable and otherwise – just like his father does. ‘It’s also important for William to promote his home, Norfolk, in the same way that Charles promotes Cornwall with the Duchy range. You can just imagine the labelling – ‘home-grown organic produce from Norfolk, home of Prince William’.’ Kate shares her father-in-law’s love of all things organic.

Pippa has a number of ‘new and exciting projects’ that will be unveiled in coming months related to her passion for health food, and she works with Kate regularly to develop recipes. In keeping with the entrepreneurial Middleton family tradition of creating ‘kits’ for all occasions, the sisters are said to have invented a ‘grow-your-own vegetable kit’ which would no doubt feature in the Anmer Organics range. Downton Abbey’s butler Carson faced a mysterious death even before the last series began – because actor Jim Carter was so ill there were fears he would not return to the drama. The actor initially suffered what he thought was a stomach bug during a charity bike ride in Madagascar, but it got worse and pneumonia was diagnosed last November.
