Friday funday? One Direction surprise fans by releasing a new single.

One Direction have released a surprise new single titled ‘Drag Me Down’, their first song released since the departure of member Zayn Malik earlier this year.Louis Tomlinson also took to social media, writing: “We wanted you guys to have our new single first so here it is!” Then adding: “Thank you for all your constant support.

Malik quit pop group One Direction in March, stating that he wishes to be “a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight”. Hopefully you love it, we’re proud of it.” He tweeted: “I guess I never explained why I left, it was for this moment to be given the opportunity to show you who i really am! #realmusic #RCA !!”

It’s a little surprising musically, too, with Harry Styles taking the high notes that once would’ve belonged to Malik and guitars coming in just where you think a massive EDM chorus could break out. This is your business but I’m here for you’.” “In terms of the band, they’ve got enough hits now they can take some time off and do some other stuff they want to do.
