Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt Pat Houston reveals niece was headed to rehab before death.

ATLANTA (AP) — A woman in charge of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s care at the hospice where she died was impersonating a nurse and faces charges that include identity fraud and nursing without a license, police said. The only child of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown died at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in July, almost six months after she was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Roswell, Georgia home.“I decided she was going to rehab because that’s where we had called to set up for her to go,” Houston told People Magazine during a recent interview. “She didn’t make it.” (RELATED: Medical Examiners Determine Cause Of Death For Bobbi Kristina) “She found out that I was coming for her, not to do an intervention, because I didn’t want to go through that with her.

Now the tragedy has taken another twist after police arrested Taiwo Sobamowo, who had been caring for the tragic 22 year old, on suspicion of identity fraud. Meanwhile a woman who once worked at the Duluth hospice where Bobbi Kristina spent her last days has been arrested in North Carolina after authorities discovered she lacked the proper credentials to work as a nurse. She has since been terminated from her employment with Homestead Hospice and Palliative Care, which provides staff for Peachtree and other medical facilities, and has been reported to state nursing officials. Amanda McKissick, the company’s Regional Director of Operations, says, “We understand that we are not the only hospice that she has gained fraudulent employment with, and we are relieved that she is no longer practicing.” It is not known if Brown’s care was affected by Sobamowo, but police reportedly do not believe she obtained work at Peachtree just to get close to the famous offspring.

But, unfortunately, she never made it.” In the weeks and months that followed the tragic discovery, Bobbi Kristina’s condition slowly deteriorated. Sobamowo, who has addresses in Buford, Georgia, and Raleigh, North Carolina, was being held Tuesday in a Raleigh jail on a charge of being a fugitive from another state, records show. In early August, Gordon was slapped with a $10 million lawsuit alleging he provided her with a “toxic cocktail” and stole $11,000 from her bank account. In September, the Fulton County Medical Examiner said the cause has been determined, but the autopsy results would not be publicly revealed because of a court order to seal the results.
