Drake Surprised Andre 3000 And Erykah Badu’s Kid At School.

This morning, Fat Belly Bella made her first ever appearance on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club and talked about a slew of topics, including her former mate Jay Electronica. Throughout the conversation with Charlamagne, DJ Envy and Angela Yee, Badu touched on her upcoming mixtape, past relationships and kicking it wit Drake.

Jay himself made a surprise appearance on camera, which prompted Erykah to talk about his musical legacy. “Jay doesn’t need to make an album,” she said when asked about his career. “He can make one if he want to, but he don’t need to do that. Towards the end of the interview, Electronica came into the studio where he was asked by Charlamagne when he planned on dropping new music. “I’m only here as security for the mother of my daughter,” responded the mysterious MC. It just lit up Seven’s world.” “To this day, he is the biggest Drake fan ever,” Badu added. “I really respect Drake for keeping that relationship with Seven open, keeping his line open, being so kind to him.” Badu, who’s been linked to other rappers and has one child with The D.O.C. and another with Jay Electronica, was asked if she’s ever seen Drizzy in a romantic light. “That’s my brother,” Badu told The Fader. “He’s like a little brother to me. It was a ritual of sorts for me because, you know, I’m thinking in my mind, with each piece or layer of clothing I was taking off, I was shedding a layer of fear.” Erykah Badu also talked about all three of her relationships with legendary emcees. She was asked whether she thinks she was responsible for Andre 3000’s wardrobe change and even said Common is the most compassionate man she’s ever met.

In the past few months, Just Blaze, who produced the masterpiece that is “Exhibit C,” said in an interview that he has a finished version of Electronica’s album. Shortly thereafter, an unreleased song called “Holladay” dropped and news surfaced that a new vinyl project from Jay will come out on Record Store Day.
