Demi Lovato announces ‘Future Now’ tour with Nick Jonas.

Demi Lovato showed off her long, lean legs as she was spotted leaving Good Morning America in New York City on Thursday as it has been a very busy month for the Skyscraper hit-maker. Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, and Walk the Moon will join 5 Seconds of Summer, Selena Gomez, One Direction, and Carrie Underwood on the stage at the upcoming American Music Awards, ABC announced Thursday. The two long-time friends, frequent collaborators and fellow former Disney stars announced on Monday that they’d embark on a tour called “Future Now” next summer. Lovato looked stunning as she left the ABC morning news studios in a short, black suede dress which was adorned with gold buttons cascading down the front. This announcement comes on the heels of news that Jonas and Lovato are teaming up for next summer’s Future Now tour, which kicks off June 24 in Florida.

The 44-date tour is set to open on June 24 at Florida’s BB&T Centre and hit cities across the US and Canada before concluding on September 17 in Los Angeles. Demi kept her accessories to a minimum and let the dress speak for itself however she coordinated her look with matching manicure, black heels and kept shaded in dark sunglasses. Jonas previously performed at the award show in 2007 and 2008 with The Jonas Brothers, and this year he’s nominated for the first time as a solo artist for favorite male pop/ rock artist.

Taylor Swift is the most nominated artist at this year’s awards with six, though The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Nicki Minaj and Meghan Trainor aren’t far behind. AMAs nominees are based on key fan interactions as reflected in Billboard Magazine and on Billboard.com, including album and digital singles sales, radio airplay, streaming, social activity and touring.
