‘Fuller House’ Trailer Finally Drops, Brings the Tanner Family Back Home: Watch!.

That’s because while fans are treated to memorable San Francisco settings, ranging from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Tanner residence’s “Painted Lady” Victorian exterior, the only cast member seen in this “Fuller House” trailer, released Thursday, is an adorable puppy. Netflix also released the touching first teaser for the new series, which will follow Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Kimmy (Andrea Barber) helping DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) to raise her three sons.Netflix released an announcement video Thursday, revealing that the revival/sequel/spinoff of ’80s and ’90s sitcom “Full House” will arrive Friday, Feb. 26 with 13 new episodes all at once. When Netflix announced a Full House reboot as part of their ever-expanding streaming slate, there was some question as to how a cheesy, heartwarming sitcom of the TGIF era could survive in a more cynical era.

Most of their cast mates from the original series – Bob Saget, John Stamos, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin – will guest star in select episodes of the show. Set to Miranda Lambert’s “The House that Built Me,” the teaser also offers fans their first look at the sitcom’s new set, which shows an updated version of the clan’s San Francisco home. It’s a little tough to decipher who’s who with all the character names they mention, but it’s safe to say the Tanner family has grown since they left us in 1995. That nostalgia kicks in big time when Danny intones, “Welcome home.” On the other side of the door, the aforementioned adorable puppy can barely contain its excitement: a totally deep metaphor for “Full House” super-fans everywhere.

It was a decision that left Stamos, who is also producing the series, #”heartbroken.” It was also Stamos who announced back in April, after much speculation, that Fuller House was officially going to be a reality and the close-knit cast would be together again on screen. Fans will also get to see cameos from Bob Saget as Danny Tanner, Lori Loughlin as Aunt Becky, Scott Weinger as Steve and Dave Coulier (“cut – it – out!”) as Joey Gladstone. You won’t have to strain at all to catch some of those familiar 90s-era catchphrases as the teaser promises that the Tanners will return in February 2016.

News reports guest appearances will also include Eva LaRue, Maks Chmerkovskiy, Val Chmerkovskiy and Juan Pablo di Pace, but Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will not be reprising their role of Michelle Tanner. The show is expected to explain the character’s absence by saying Michelle is working on her fashion line in New York City — just like the real-life Olsen twins.
