Furious 7 Finally Gets a Hilarious Honest Trailer: Watch Now!.

Screen Junkies is once again getting to the bottom of an over-the-top blockbuster by telling us what this movie is really about (you know, besides making box office bank.) Despite having a weird timeline and not using enough of The Rock, this movie was still able to transition from ridiculous thrill ride to being a beautiful, heartfelt goodbye to Paul Walker, which is exactly what the fans wanted. And yes, we’ll probably be seeing more over-the-shoulder, dramatically-delivered proverbs from Diesel again soon—because why stop with 7 when there are still so many more things for cars to fly out of? Second, the script and dialogue has devolved into a parody of itself, becoming something you’d see in a movie that makes fun of movies like “Furious 7.” After the events of “Furious 6,” which admittedly are a blur to me, the gang has to deal with a new enemy – Jason Statham. So Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson have to stop Jason Statham before he slowly picks each one of them off. But a covert operation headed up by Kurt Russell comes into play; they’re looking for a device that can track anyone on earth at any time – using cell phones. “The Dark Knight” rip-off aside, Vin Diesel and the team agree to bring the device to Kurt Russell after Kurt Russell promises that they’ll be able to use it to find Jason Statham.

Goodies like: “You just earned yourself a dance with the devil, boy,” and “My fist and a body bag will be waiting for you on the other side,” and “Woman, I am the cavalry!” “Furious 7” was just an excuse to drive cars off and through things while simultaneously dropping groan-worthy one liners. So unless you just finished watching all six before “Furious 7,” you might have a difficult time knowing exactly what’s going on with the various characters. After seeing the previous two special features in which the cars are actually doing everything we see them doing in the movie, I was a little disappointed to find out they didn’t actually jump a car between skyscrapers in Abu Dhabi. If you like fast cars, fun explosions, rad practical effects, and plot and dialogue that will give your eyeballs a workout from the amount of rolling they’ll do, then pick up “Furious 7” on Blu-ray.
