John Stamos is ‘heartbroken’ the Olsen twins won’t be on ‘Fuller House’.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will not be reprising their shared role as Michelle Tanner in Fuller House, a forthcoming Netflix series based on their former sitcom Full House. Boyett noted in a statement released to The Hollywood Reporter. “It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavours.

We want to give the fans what they deserve for supporting us for so many years,” Stamos wrote. “We all just want to have fun – do it in a classy way on Netflix and have a good time. In the days that followed the interview, Stamos tweeted that Olsen’s claim was “bulls–t.” (Stamos’ tweet has since been deleted.) But Stamos later wrote that he and Mary-Kate had a “sweet talk” to presumably clear the air.

Their former co-star John Stamos caught wind of the twins’ WWD interview and he called their declaration of ignorance about the show “bullsh*t” on Twitter before deleting his tweet. Many of the original castmembers are returning for Fuller House, as Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) are all confirmed for the ensemble.
