Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse Together Again! Lori Loughlin Confirms ‘Fuller House’ Return.

Lori Loughlin made a whole lot of Full House fans happy on Thursday morning when she stopped by Good Morning America to make a major announcement: “Officially, I am going to be part of the spinoff Fuller House,” she said. Actress Lori Loughlin, pictured here at a 2014 private luncheon in celebration of Hollywood Costume, recently confirmed her involvement in the upcoming “Fuller House” reunion special and spinoff.Lori Loughlin has confirmed that she’ll be appearing in Fuller House and our hearts can barely contain themselves at the thought of an Aunt Becky/ Uncle Jesse reunion!

No word yet on the status of Tanner family patriarch Danny (Bob Saget), but Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who shared the role of Michelle, have announced that they will not return. She opens her home to her sister Stephanie , bff Kimmy Gibbler and her teenage daughter and the three will try and navigate life similar to the way it was done for them.

John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, and Dave Coulier are all on board with the project, but the fates of Aunt Becky, Danny, and Michelle Tanner still remained up in the air. After that, a full 13-episode spinoff series will go up featuring DJ Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) needing help taking care of her two children after her husband passes away. Now that the pair will be reunited onscreen, there’s no word on whether or not their kids, twins Nicki and Alex (played by Dylan and Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit) will also make an appearance. Can I get a “have mercy?” This is great news for multiple reasons, but no reason is more important than the fact that it means that Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky are still going strong. I merely assumed that they would have to handwave some excuse about her being away at work or something to explain why the two were still happily married (forever and ever, thank you very much) despite Stamos being present without Loughlin.

So we’ll come back and do the first episode and maybe throughout we’ll pop up here and there.” But one Tanner family member who won’t be returning for the reunion? However, we won’t have to worry about that at all, because Loughlin has happily signed on to the project. “Doing that show was one of the best jobs I’ve ever had. It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes towards Fuller House.” “I understand they’re in a different place and I wish them the best,” Stamos tweeted. “I promise you will not be disappointed with our reunion and spin off!!” When Fuller House was first announced, Loughlin spoke out about her desire to receive a proper deal (and compensation) from Netflix to return. “I think we would all like to come back if the powers that be are fair to all of us,” Loughlin said at the time. “Favored nations would be fair…We want to be there, we want to come back, it’s up to them.” Any among us who didn’t consider Jesse and Becky to be the very definition of true love while they were watching Full House religiously are total liars.

The likelihood that we will get Mary-Kate or Ashley Olsen on board to play Michelle for the pilot episode, or that we will get Bob Saget on board to play Danny Tanner, are looking pretty slim, but we have most of the titular full house all present and accounted for, and that is what matters here.
