Lindsay Lohan discharged from London hospital after contracting chikungunya

LiLo ‘not doing well with virus’.

‘Mean Girls’ actress Lindsay Lohan has been hospitalised after she contracted Chikungunya, a virus transmitted by mosquito bites that causes fever, joint pain and fatigue. “In good faith with good people. I refuse to let a virus affect my peaceful vacation be safe and happy on the new year all wildfox and a positive, healthy new year (sic),” she wrote on Twitter. According to reports, the star checked herself into King Edward VII’s Hospital in London on Tuesday complaining of worsening symptoms and apparently her health is ailing.

And it’s claimed Lindsay’s mother Dina is so concerned for her daughter’s wellbeing, she’s asked Lindsay to come live with her while she’s sick. “Dina wants her to come home to New York when she is released. TMZ added on Wednesday that Lindsay returned to London after spending a short time in Los Angeles where she filmed a car insurance commercial, but was admitted to hospital after becoming so ill she couldn’t walk. Lindsay is currently in King Edward VII’s Hospital and she is reportedly being kept in because she has a high fever and the joint pain is “unbearable”.
