John Stamos Gripes About The Olsen Twins In First ‘Unauthorized Full House Story’ Clip.

In the first footage released from “The Unauthorized Full House Story,” Bob Saget reveals he is quite different from dependable TV dad Danny Tanner. After the fictionalized version of John Stamos gets upset when a take needs to be stopped because one of the Olsen twins needs a diaper change, the TV version of Saget cuts the tension with a R-rated proposition. In the exclusive clip, some serious negotiations go down between Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s representatives and the show’s executives regarding how much the twins – who shared the role of Michelle Tanner, youngest daughter in the show’s San Francisco family – will get paid. The first look at the behind-the-scenes saga comes as the actual cast of “Full House” reunites to film the Netflix series “Fuller House,” due out next year. US) who could barely contain all the unbridled joy that came when Lifetime aired its “Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story,” this is going to be a must-see event for sure.

The first clip features Justin Gaston as John Stamos, in all his greasy-haired glory, complaining to his boss about the Olsen Twins’ performance as baby Michelle. “We love the twins, but is there any way you can find babies who are a little more comfortable on-stage?” he asks the showrunner, who responds with a sassy variation of Michelle’s “You got it dude” and blows him right off. He gets a sassy response back. “Yeah, toddler veterans, I’ll get right on that.” John pushes it even further, saying, “It’s taking forever to get through one kids scene with no audience.

Then Stamos insists the girls are a big problem for everyone, and … that’s when things get super awkward. “I say we hire a bunch of strippers and install a pole right here,” adds Garrett Brawith’s Bob Saget. And he obviously wasn’t very well versed in the hearing capacity of curious children — unless he was, which makes it even weirder — because the comment was loud enough for young Jodie Sweetin (Dakota Guppy) to overhear and ask innocently, “What’s a stripper?” “Hopefully a career path you will never have to follow,” he answers, invoking the well-deserved ire of his boss. It’s a bit ironic to see “John” bashing the twins, seeing as though he recently seemed to have thrown shade at them after they announced they would not reprise their role as Michelle Tanner in the Netflix spinoff, Fuller House.

The first cast photo was revealed in June, and while it’s not our familiar faces we’re used to, it sure seems like we won’t be disappointed in the movie, which debuts on Aug. 22.
