Lifetime’s ‘Olsen Twins’ Mean Business, Ask for Double the Pay in New Unauthorized Full House Story Clip.

At least, that’s the case in a new clip from Lifetime’s The Unauthorized Full House Story, a tell-all TV movie that delves into the alleged behind-the-scenes drama of the wildly popular ’90s show Full House and its cast. In the exclusive clip, some serious negotiations go down between Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s representatives and the show’s executives regarding how much the twins – who shared the role of Michelle Tanner, youngest daughter in the show’s San Francisco family – will get paid. Danny Tanner, Joey and Uncle Jesse — the latter played by Justin Gaston, who is best known as Miley Cyrus’ ex— are not happy about having to deal with children, and do not appreciate the toddler gold they have at their disposal in the Olsen twins. However, John is not exactly pleased, and he takes it up with a crew member. “Hey man, look, we love the twins, but is there any way you could find babies who are a little more comfortable on stage?” John asks.

He gets a sassy response back. “Yeah, toddler veterans, I’ll get right on that.” John pushes it even further, saying, “It’s taking forever to get through one kids scene with no audience. It’s a bit ironic to see “John” bashing the twins, seeing as though he recently seemed to have thrown shade at them after they announced they would not reprise their role as Michelle Tanner in the Netflix spinoff, Fuller House. The first cast photo was revealed in June, and while it’s not our familiar faces we’re used to, it sure seems like we won’t be disappointed in the movie, which debuts on Aug. 22.
