6-year-old with brain tumour gets surprise voicemail from Frozen’s Princess Anna.

Avery Huffman, who has been diagnosed with the inoperable disease, was surprised with a recorded message from her favorite ‘Frozen’ character, who tried her best to put smile on the face of a young girl, the Daily Star reported.The 35-year-old actress famously voices character Anna in the hit 2013 family animation film Frozen, which reached astronomical success at the box office.Footage uploaded to YouTube Friday shows Avery Huffman react in astonishment when Kristen Bell, the actress who played Princess Anna in “Frozen,” called to pass along a message.

Avery’s dad Brandon Huffman said that although the last three weeks were like a nightmare for them, there were the days which made them forget about their daughter’s awful battle and one of them was when ‘Gossip Girl’ star sent a special voice message to little Avery. A six-year-old girl named Avery Huffman was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) last month, which is an inoperable brain tumour that will most likely lead to death. Kristen got in touch with Avery’s parent’s after reading about her condition, and her love of Frozen, on their blog, and arranged to leave Avery a voice message she’d never forget. And when Kristen caught wind of the tragic diagnosis, the star took it upon herself to make a difference in Avery’s life by leaving a sweet voicemail for her.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kristen got into character as her Frozen persona Anna and told Avery in the message that her sister Queen Elsa was making the little girl an honorary princess. The couple have been involved in the fight against publication of their children’s pictures in tabloids with their #NoKidsPolicy campaign for quite some time, and they remain firm in their quest.

The House of Lies actress was also honoured at the Laughter is the Best Medicine event a few months ago for her efforts to improve women’s health in countries all over the world. “To be among that group I’m like pretty sure I’m a doctor now but I can’t guarantee it,” she joked to ET Online previously. “It’s nice to be acknowledged, though I don’t really feel special in any way.
