Prince Harry Steps Out in Crisp Blue Suit, Scruffy Red Beard, Looks Hotter Than Ever.

It has been quite a week for royal obsessives: Kate made her grand return to the public sphere, after a quiet summer on maternity leave—with a new hairstyle to boot. The sports-loving prince, who is is the honorary president of England Rugby 2015, gave a warm speech on the eve of the six-week global tournament. “As a passionate rugby fan, I will share in the rollercoaster of emotions with millions of other fans around the world between now and Oct. 31,” he said. “It is this rollercoaster that makes sport – and especially rugby – so compelling. Kate—whose bangs appear to have been slightly revised from their earlier-in-the-week iterations—wore a bright blue Reiss coat to the event, and she looked relaxed and calm, whispering to William and laughing demonstratively (does anyone laugh as demonstratively as Kate while still managing to simultaneously look utterly cool and collected?).

I have no doubt that all the highs and lows, the drama and tension, will create unforgettable memories.” “I believe that this World Cup – more than any before – has the potential to grow the game, both at home and abroad, by inspiring children of all backgrounds, and encouraging men and women of all ages and abilities, to embrace rugby,” he continued. But the show was stolen, as it were, by the Cinnamon Prince himself, as the newly bearded Harry, in a blue suit, addressed the crowd, and also appeared in a pre-taped clip (up at the top of this post) that ran during the ceremony, in which Harry plays an 1823 gardener who doubts that rugby will “ever take off.” Though his screen time is unfortunately restricted to a mere few seconds (feel free to skip to 2:15, which is when he comes on), Harry acquits himself quite well! He really commits to the raking, and on a scale from Wooden to Meryl Streep, he is at “Bartender with One Line on an ABC Family Show,” which is better than you might expect for a prince with no prior acting experience! The prince has been a royal patron of the conservation charity for almost a decade. “Tusk has aged well, better even than me – and that’s to say nothing of the fast-greying founder and CEO Charlie Mayhew,” William joked at the start of his speech. “The need to protect wildlife in Africa is greater than ever before,” he continued. “We must take action…The illegal slaughter of elephants and rhino for their horns is barbaric, and it is not stylish to be associated with it.

The problem, of course, is not unique to any part of the world – we must all do our best.” Conservation is one of the key causes both William and Harry have focused on, with Harry having just returned from a three-month conservation trip in Africa. “He is like an African man,” Simson Uri-Khob, CEO of Save The Rhino Trust and Harry’s expedition leader in Namibia, told PEOPLE. “He likes to be out there, sleeping under the stars knowing that he is close to danger.” As Us Weekly exclusively reports in the latest issue, Prince William’s younger brother is rekindling things with Davy, his former college sweetheart, but remains close pals with Bonas. (They dated for two years before splitting in April 2014.) Sources tell Us that Harry and Davy, 29, have been secretly meeting up since a date in February, and the corporate lawyer flew 8,500 miles from South Africa to be by his side when he celebrated his 31st birthday in London on Tuesday, Sept. 15. “They decided they would like to give their relationship another chance,” a close Harry source tells Us. “They still have strong feelings for each other.”
