Everything We Know About Yeezy Season 2.

The child gave off humorous expressions as she sat on her 34-year-old mother’s lap and had next to her none other than Vogue editor Anna Wintour (who appeared disapproving the last time the little one attended one of Kanye’s fashion shows, back in February). Between anger over the last-minute scheduling and rumors about Kanye West’s outrageous non-disclosure agreements he forced models to sign, there was a lot going on at the NYFW presentation of Yeezy, Season 2.

Kanye West’s presentation during New York Fashion Week showed off his baggy, rural collection in a military style as Anna Wintour, Lorde and Kim Kardashian — holding baby North West — sat in the front row.Like he did in February with the melancholy “Wolves,” Kanye West debuted a new track at a runway show during New York’s Fashion Week. “Fade” features Ty Dolla $ign and Post Malone and samples house classics “Can You Feel It” by Mr. The collection was launched in four sets: First a woman entered the stage wearing tan, almost the same color as her skin, and she yelled, “First row, fall in. The rapper put on a surprise presentation of his new collection with Adidas, Yeezy Season 2, during which Kim sat front row with their daughter alongside Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner (Kylie Jenner actually walked the runway for it). The front row was dotted with the usual crew—Kim Kardashian and daughter North West sat front and center to support Kanye (and yes, North was much happier to see her Papa’s show this time).

Though some may see the outfit as risque for a pregnant woman (she is expecting a son in December), it was undeniably chic as the beige colors of her top and leggings blended perfectly with her long trench coat, making her look like a nude wonder. The Models: According to The Mirror, West may have alienated quite a few high-profile models when he asked them to sign an over-the-top contract forbidding them to discuss him, Kim or any member of the Kardashian-Jenner Klan. As far as her glam look, the daughter of Kris Jenner, 59, was made up for her close up with heavily lined eyes, beige lips and a stylish hair do consisting of a slicked-back side part ponytail.

The rapper-producer has mostly remained silent on his highly anticipated follow-up to 2013’s Yeezus, though he had an active start to the year with the release of “FourFiveSeconds,” “Only One,” “All Day” and the aforementioned “Wolves.” Along with the contributors to “Fade,” other notable names attached to SWISH include Rihanna, Vic Mensa, Kendrick Lamar, Sia and Paul McCartney. 2015 may not bring everything that Back to the Future II promised it would: flying cars, self-lacing shoes, we don’t see ’em happening over the next 12 months. (Then again, don’t bet against Nike.) But this year will definitely pack plenty of punch when it comes to cultural happenings. Mad Max will roar back out of the apocalypse while Mad Men rides off into the sunset, rock’s Antichrist Superstar and hip-hop’s Yeezus will rise again. The parade of nude-toned and chocolate colored hoodies, jackets, and athletic wear looked like it might be the wardrobe of choice in The Hunger Games’ districts of Panem. File this one under “things that make us go, “hmmmm.”) The Soundtrack: A brand new Yeezy track — featuring a West’s smooth vocals and a requisite thumping bass line — was played during the show’s finale as models stood blank-faced in front of the audience.

In case you missed it, poor little Nori went into a bit of a fit during the opening of the Yeezy x Adidas debut collection in February, crying uncontrollably as and Beyoncé couldn’t help but react with some hilarious facial expressions while trying to remain unfazed by the tantrum. Kanye’s season two designs incorporated the same military-inspired ease with a largely nude and neutral palette—showcasing Yeezy’s minimalist aesthetic. You might call it “dystopian cool.’’ The models marched out to a dull back beat as a string of drill masters barked for them to “fall in’’ row by row, and then “forward, march.’’ Hooded khaki-colored sweatshirts, and an occasional pop of burgundy, were about as colorful as it got. Kim teased her husband’s upcoming collection on Thursday night by posting Instagram snaps of herself wearing a beige Givenchy peplum skirt with matching thigh-high, peep-toe and open-heeled boots.

The cutie was eventually taken backstage to calm down, and Kim was later photographed back at her seat to support her hubby sans their teary-eyed daughter. There were women in fish net stockings and calf-hugging booties, and male models who strutted the catwalk in boxy, thick-soled boots, their sweatpants scrunched up to their knees. The musician-turned-designer (who may or may not also be running for president?) rubbed at least a few designers the wrong way after announcing his show just two days before.

Refinery29 said it wasn’t “as revolutionary—or ‘pavement-cracking’—as promised,” while many others were less than impressed by the neutral-colored, oversized sweaters and distressed leggings. At the very least, designer Anne Bowen expressed her distress about having to reschedule her inaugural runway show because of a scheduling conflict with the rapper.

Kanye’s been popping up selectively in New York City during week, stopping by designer bestie Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy show (it’s the first time the brand’s departed the Parisian runways in favor of New York City, FYI) and also making a cameo at the Brother Vellies presentation. And a slightly distressed, gray overcoat, while not fitting with the spring/summer theme of fashion week, would make for a chic cover up in the coming winter and fall.

Kanye and Kim have also been spotted out and about throughout the city, giving the soon-to-be mama of two a few prime opportunities to model a few of her hubby’s designs ahead of his runway presentation. The rest of the Kardashian bunch have been making a splash in the city for NYFW festivities as well—namely Kourtney, who is continuing to flaunt her breakover style (bravo, Kourt!).
