Kanye West and Steve McQueen’s film collaboration to have United States debut.

Oscar-winning “12 Years a Slave” director Steve McQueen is bringing his short-film installation “Steve McQueen with Kanye West: All Day / I Feel Like That” featuring rapper West to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Saturday. “All Day” will run for four days only, a museum spokeswoman told The Los Angeles Times. After Steve McQueen’s harrowing drama 12 Years A Slave won the Oscar for Best Picture, he likely faced the same existential crisis that greets any artist who has received one of the highest honors bestowed in their field: Where to go from here?Several highly anticipated, timely and celebrity-supported works of art are heading to LACMA, and now there’s another star-studded show on it’s way that is sure to attract big crowds. An official synopsis of the piece hasn’t been released but in unofficial clips uploaded to the Internet, West is seen bobbing and weaving as music plays. West through an empty warehouse as he runs, crouches, dodges, raps, rants, sweats and trousers, as if being pursued by the camera or the police or in pursuit himself, until he slumps against the wall to catch his breath.

It had previously been shown in March during Paris fashion week, and is not widely available – its only presence online is from someone filming it while it was shown at the Foundation Louis Vuitton. The installation will show on the ground floor of LACMA’s Broad Contemporary for those with a general admission ticket during regular museum hours. “All Day” runs Saturday through July 28.

Along with creating a clothing line for Adidas and making notable appearances at fashion weeks around the world, West put out the short film Runaway in 2010, which features music from his album My lovely Dark Twisted Fantasy. This spring, West was given an honorary doctorate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. “Static” is a digital projection he made in 2009. In 1705, Daniel Defoe said of the Chatham dockyard: “So great is the order and application there, that a first-rate vessel of war of 106 guns, ordered to be commissioned by Sir Cloudesley Shovell, was ready in three days. The title of the installation is believed to be a reference to West’s single “All Day”, which was released this year. (The latter is yet to be released by West, but appeared on the leaked SWISH track list that surfaced on Reddit recently).

At the time the order was given the vessel was entirely unrigged; yet the masts were raised, sails bent, anchors and cables on board, in that time.” It is now preserved as a popular maritime museum, and is often used for filming because of the large number of historic buildings. McQueen: “Static”, a short 2009 video filmed from a helicopter circling the Statue of Liberty so choppily that the statue itself almost seems a body in motion. A version of this article appears in print on 07/20/2015, on page C3 of the NewYork edition with the headline: Kanye West-Steve McQueen Video to Make U.S.
