Bieber cites “personal issues” as he cancels two performances last minute.

The 21-year-old pop star has been involved in a relentless promotional schedule for months while publicising his new album Purpose but the pressure seems to have taken its toll and he’s been forced to axe two US telly appearances.

After pulling out of a scheduled chat on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, due this evening, he also cancelled a performance on Tuesday evening which was due to be broadcast during The Thanksgiving Parade on CBS on Thursday. He tweeted his apologies after cancelling his New York performance on Stephen Colbert’s show but didn’t acknowledge his no-show for the CBS pre-record. I look forward to making it up to you soon” But the Sorry hitmaker – who is currently sitting at the top of the UK singles charts – looked fine as he enjoyed a leisurely lunch in Beverly Hills, California earlier today along with his tour manager Corey Gamble. The news comes just days after he performed at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, where he picked up the Collaboration of the Year award for his track Where Are Ü Now which he created with Skrillex and Diplo.
