Bieber hints that he might get back together with Selena Gomez… one day.

“It is tough,” Bieber said during the show which will air on November 9. “There’s a lot of stuff that reminds me of her. Biebs previously said that three tracks are about Jelena — and now he’s naming names. “What Do You Mean,” “Sorry,” and “Mark My Words” were all inspired by his first love, Bieber revealed.

The fictional male model, played by Ben Stiller, is clearly still mixing with A-Listers judging by this funny promo video on the pop star’s Instagram. That record belongs to pop boy band One Direction, composed of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and previously, Zayn Malik, who left the band on March 25, 2015. He did not say that “Strong,” the track he recorded with Gomez, is about her, however. “I think we are both on our own journeys of figuring ourselves out,” Bieber explained. “I think maybe once we figure ourselves out we can come together and make an awesome duo or she’ll find someone awesome and I’ll find someone awesome. Carly Simon sang “You’re So Vain” to someone long before Justin Timberlake tiptoed around the house of a Britney Spears lookalike in the “Cry Me a River” video. (In retrospect, that was actually pretty creepy.) But rarely have the pop charts been so dominated by he said/she saids, in which one singer unleashes an account of his or her pain only to have the accused respond. The really, really, really, really good-looking star made it clear that while he’s happy to endorse Bieber, he’s doing it for purely selfish reasons.

After partying with her ex and Big Bang Theory costar, Johnny Galecki, last week, the actress enjoyed a little girl time on Sunday as she hosted the Stand Up for Pits Comedy Benefit in Hollywood. In the clip he says: ‘When my good friend Justin Bieber asked me to promote his new album, Purpose, I said “Of course.” Because I wanted more Instagram followers. Inside the event, the star shared how her dogs were there for her during a difficult year, presumably referring to her separation from husband Ryan Sweeting. And I hear it’s good.’ Fashionistas will be pleased to know Zoolander, whose second movie is out next February, even has his own Instagram page now – featuring a selfie with Owen Wilson’s male model character Hansel. The pop star, who was discovered on YouTube and shot to fame at the age of 13, scored more than a billion views for his music video for ‘Baby’ ft.

She won’t generally confirm who a certain song is about, but come on: “Dear John” has to be about John Mayer; “You’re Not Sorry” seems pretty clearly directed at Nick Jonas. Sample lyrics: “Cause You got that James Dean day dream look in your eye / And I got that red lip classic thing that you like / And when we go crashing down, we come back every time / Cause we never go out of style” When 1D’s song debuted last month, people couldn’t help but notice the similarities between the single and Swift’s “Style.” The choruses sound more or less identical, which is all the more obvious when you listen to a mash-up of the two songs together. At first he refused to admit who it was about, despite wide speculation the lyrics were directed at songstress Ellie Goulding, who apparently ditched him for One Direction’s Niall Horan.

But then Sheeran admitted it by not really admitting it, saying that he wouldn’t explicitly kiss and tell – he’s a nice guy, after all – because everyone seemed to know the truth already. Sample lyrics: “Thought that you were cute and you could make me jealous / Pour it down, so I poured it down / Next thing that I know, I’m in a hotel with you / You were talking deep like it was mad love to you / You wanted my heart, but I just liked your tattoos.” • The winner: This contest was over before Goulding released her song, around the time the singer told Elle UK, “I did go on a few dates with Niall, but I was never in a relationship with Ed. But it was Bieber who broke the record for most widespread social network message in 24 hours with his tweet: “Setting a world record for @justinbieber!” It was retweeted over 300,000 times in one day.
