Josh Brolin Engaged to Kathryn Boyd!.

The Gangster Squad actor has been dating Kathryn Boyd since March 2013. Brolin and Boyd, his former assistant, started dating in early 2013, about a month after the actor and Diane Lane separated; their divorce — which followed eight years of marriage — was finalized around Thanksgiving 2013.This will be Brolin’s third marriage – he was previously wed to actress Diane Lane from 2004 to 2013, and he divorced his first wife, Alice Adair, in 1992. Shortly before that relationship landmark and in the wake of a drunken bar brawl in Santa Monica, the “Milk” Oscar nominee went to rehab in Northern California. “I’m in a totally different space,” Brolin declared to USA Today in January 2014. “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, other than having my kids.

I wake up in the morning and I’m actually happy.” The next month, he and Boyd were photographed getting romantic in Rome, and they were recently spotted celebrating something with friends in Cabo San Lucas, according to an eyewitness who spoke to People and Us Weekly. The pair appeared on the red carpet together in December for the premiere of his movie Inherent Vice and the star confessed that his partner makes him look his best. His role in the film resonated with him, because as he told NPR, “I find the experience so much more familial than anything else I’ve ever experienced regarding film.” “I love film so much because not only can you research it and can you study it, almost like a play, but then you do the film for three months and then that’s it—it’s done,” he went on. “I think that was happening in my life, too, and it also happened in my kid’s life: a lot of moving, a lot of different cultures and completely immersing yourself in that culture and then it turning into something else when you left.
