On the this Wednesday, host Jimmy Fallon’s two main guests were actor James Spader from the hit NBC TV series, The Blacklist, and Andrew Rannells from the movie, The Intern.

SNL star Kenan Thompson reunited with his All That cohort Kel Mitchell on Wednesday’s Tonight Show, throwing it back to the skit the Nickelodeon teen comedy duo performed on the ensemble sketch show, before breaking off to their own series, Kenan and Kel, in 1996. The fellows did their well-known “Good Burger” sketch, which originated on the 90s hit Nickelodeon show All That, after which its spin off Kenan & Kel. Fallon welcomed the audience, then did his monologue, cracking jokes about topics like it being the first day of fall. “You can tell it’s fall because I saw a rat on the subway dragging a Pumpkin Spice Latte.” Fallon then joked about the Pope’s visit. The audience went nuts at the reveal, and grew even louder as the comedian uttered his famous line “Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger, can I take your order?” Mitchell as Ed bumbled his way through a few customers’ orders before reuniting with another former All That character, Lester Oaks, Construction Worker, played by Thompson, marking the first time the comedy duo had played their respective characters since the Nickelodeon show’s reunion special back in 2005.

He showed a clip of a news announcer talking about “There’s a tiny little car, and there, you can spot the Pope.” Fallon said that Chris Christie ordered the head of the New Jersey Air National Guard to lose weight. Ed took Lester’s order of Good Burger and fries just fine, but got confused when Lester ordered a shake, jumping over the counter and physically jiggling him around.

After that, Fallon did his weekly “Tonight Show Superlatives” Some of them, paraphrased, include, “Vance Walker, a Defensive End for the Broncos, was Voted Most Likely to See His Ex-Wife and Girlfriend Hitting it off at a Party. Then, Keenan, now from SNL and with a beard, showed up as a customer. “The name is Lester Oates, Construction Worker,” he said. “This here is a serious matter.” Tariq came back in, saying, “I couldn’t get that song out of my head.

If you can come up with one more good song, I’ll sign you to my record label.” Kel and Fallon sang a song, as the headed to another commercial break. What do you like listening to the most?” “I have a problem with one or two of my neighbors,” Spader admitted. “My neighbor from across the street came out in his bathrobe and did this,” he said, standing up and spreading his arms out, like the “What gives?” gesture. Rannells said that Fallon was also in The Intern, and he said, “You’re in a scene with Anne Hathaway.” Jimmy Fallon acted like he did not want him to mention that, and said, “I know I’m in it. I want to hear a clamp noise, and hear him say, ‘My 2 o’clock’s here.” He said he had to take better care of himself, He noticed a two-inch hair growing out of his forehead. He said that people must have been talking about it for all of the months of the “growing season,” and how he “had been unaware of my uni-hair.” Reagan said, “I want to get a tattoo, but one that’s unique.

I lost 10 pounds and then found out that the camera added ten pounds, so I basically wasted a couple of months.” He told Fallon he had been mistaken for the director of 102 Dalmations, who had the same name.
