Jessica Simpson Doesn’t Want More Kids: “That Would Freak Me Out”.

“I would have a panic attack,” she toldPage Six about the thought of re-watching Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, the MTV docu-series starring the former couple. The tragic revelation came during an interview on Tuesday with “Today” show co-host Savannah Guthrie while discussing her insanely successful fashion brand. “No, no, no.Jessica Simpson had babies less than a year apart but she’s vowed that she’s not planning on expanding her family with husband Eric Johnson anytime soon.Jessica Simpson celebrated the 10th anniversary of her Jessica Simpson Collection on Wednesday night, ringing in the milestone at Tavern on Green in New York City.

In the 10 years since Newlyweds went off the air, Simpson, 35, has proven herself a retail mogul with her successful eponymous fashion label targeted to the “everyday woman,” as she puts it. The business mogul and singer, who has two children, three-year-old Maxwell and two-year-old Ace, has claimed that she doesn’t want any more kids, for now anyway. During an appearance on CNBC’s Closing Bell on Thursday, Sept. 10, Jessica Simpson joked that marrying first husband Nick Lachey was one of the worst financial decisions she ever made. The whole family joined her in celebrating the anniversary and though the night was full of glitz and glam, the mother of towheaded toddlers Maxwell, 3, and Ace, 2, told E! I’m very open with fans or just in the media, but having a camera on me at all times — I mean, we all know I probably stick my foot in my mouth a little bit too much,” the 35-year-old said when asked if she’d do another reality show. “Now that I’m a mom, I probably have to keep it together a little bit better.” Of course, Simpson’s reality TV days seem like they were part of another life.

Her mom does not know how to do that.” As for Maxwell’s little brother, 2-year-old Ace, he seems to already be following in his mom’s footsteps. She recently entertained her newborn niece Jagger, 1 month, whom sister Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross welcomed in July. (Ashlee, 30, also shares son Bronx, 6, with ex-husband Pete Wentz.) “Jagger just came over to see me, Maxwell, and Ace the other day, and she’s so tiny and so sweet!” Jessica gushed to ET. “And Maxwell is just obsessed! Simpson, who is now remarried to Eric Johnson, celebrated a decade in womenswear with a fête at New York’s Tavern on the Green, where she revealed she stays successful by keeping true to the woman she was when she made the leap into fashion. Her old show “Newlyweds” with ex-husband Nick Lachey aired on MTV from 2003 until 2005 and captured important moments in pop culture history, including Simpson’s repeated confusion involving items of food.

The singer, who was once married to 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey, has seen her brand grown rapidly over the years to include everything from footwear to fragrances. Asked by host Kelly Evans to name some of her biggest money mistakes, either personal or professional, Simpson at first struggled to come up with an answer. The fashion designer stunned in a plunging, mesh top that showed off quite a bit of cleavage with a pair of high-waisted trousers that revealed her enviable curves. She topped off the look with some smoky makeup, wearing her hair in long, loose waves. “What is the most difficult part, being a mom and looking as glamorous as you are and then heading out and doing carpets like this?” Sadler asked the hot mama. They’re better at technology than I am—not that I’m ever good at it, but they take over people’s phones and somehow find the pictures not to post.”

Last year, Lachey told Jenny McCarthy that he and his ex were no longer in touch. “I wouldn’t say it’s friends and I wouldn’t say it’s enemies — there is just no contact,” he explained. “We both moved on with our lives. It’s not animosity, it’s not friendship, it’s just kind of nothing.” Watch a clip from Simpson’s Closing Bell appearance above, and see the full segment with Kelly Evans at 4 p.m. on CNBC!
