Jessica Lange Is Re-uniting with American Horror Story Creator Ryan Murphy.

Jessica Lange will return to Broadway next spring in a production of Long Day’s Journey Into Night, playing the same role she did 15 years ago in London.Avid fans of American Horror Story and Jessica Lange were disappointed to find out that her four-season tenure on the FX anthology series had officially come to an end last year.

The Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that the Oscar-and-Emmy-winner will join Gabriel Byrne in a revival of Eugene O’Neill’s play in March. Directed by Jonathan Kent, the production will begin previews on March 31, 2016, before its official April 19 opening at the American Airlines Theatre. The last Broadway revival of O’Neill’s 1956 play — the story of the Tyrone family and their battle to unearth and conceal a lifetime of secrets, and drawing heavily on the playwright’s personal history — was a starry production in 2003, starring Brian Dennehy, Vanessa Redgrave, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Robert Sean Leonard and directed by Robert Falls. Jessica, 66, previously played the role of Mary Tyrone in a 2000 production of O’Neill’s familial drama in London, receiving an Olivier Award nomination for her performance as the morphine-addicted mother. Her co-stars in this new Roundabout Theater Company production include Gabriel Byrne, as her husband and Tyrone patriarch, and John Gallagher Jr. as their son Edmund.

The production is part of Roundabout’s 50th Anniversary Season and will be presented along with Harold Pinter’s “Old Times,” starring Clive Owen, “Thérèse Raquin,” starring Keira Knightley, and “Noises Off” by Michael Frayn, over the 2015-2016 season.
