67th Emmys live and exclusive only OSN.

With the 67th edition of the Primetime Emmy Awards just around the corner, several of the world’s most watched television series, screened exclusively on OSN for the fourth consecutive year, have been nominated and are gearing up for big wins at the prestigious awards show set to take place on September 20, 2015. The contender for Outstanding Drama Series is pitted against tough competition from Better Call Saul, Downton Abbey, Homeland, House Of Cards, Mad Men and Orange Is The New Black. With 19 nominations, the gritty horror series American Horror Story: Freak Show, now in its gripping fourth season, has been selected for Outstanding Cinematography for A Limited Series Or Movie category, among others.

But is it worth wading through three hours of boggy television to find those answers when you can get the highlights by clicking on the Register’s website or picking up Monday’s paper? I’m sure host Andy Samberg will deliver an adequate monologue, but after that most of the entertainment will be left to whatever impromptu cleverness sneaks in among acceptance speeches. “Cosby: The Women Speak,” 9 tonight, A&E This special sneaks up on us – A&E just announced it Monday – but it seems worth watching for those hoping to learn more about the Bill Cosby scandal. Saturday, BBC America Science fiction often takes itself too seriously, but no one tosses that accusation at the Doctor and his companions. “Doctor Who,” which begins its ninth modern season and 35th overall, is one of those rare shows that manages to be intelligent and utterly frivolous at the same time. Known for hitting screens with episodes that leave viewers imagining the unmanageable and now in its fifth season, The Walking Dead, won four nominations including Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Supporting Role which credits the spectacular efforts of the team behind the TV show’s thrilling special effects.

The gripping documentary series, available on Discovery Channel HD on OSN, takes viewers on an exciting journey around the world as the Alaskam fishing crew battle 40ft crushing waves to find some of the ocean’s unique treasures. For its fourth year of screening, The home of blockbuster movies and series, OSN will telecast the Emmy’s red carpet event live and exclusive only on E!
