Holy Flashback! New Kids on the Block to Tour with TLC and Nelly.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. In a move that’s sure to leave ’80s and ’90s kids reeling, New Kids on the Block just announced that they’re embarking on another summer tour – with TLC and Nelly! “There is no stopping us!”We’ve decided to reform again — not that we’ve broken up, but we’re gonna go back on tour this summer,” said Donnie Wahlberg alongside his band members on Good Morning America on Tuesday.

He added that the tour will feature their most elaborate stage to date, complete with “bar seats around the stage so our fans can literally sit right on the stage and converse with us, hang out and heckle us, and we can share their snacks and drinks if we want to.” Of this year’s tour lineup, Joey McIntyre smiled, “That’s a lot of hit records in one night!” Fans can purchase tickets early starting Jan. 28 by signing up for a Facebook RSVP at http://smarturl.it/NKOTB_RSVP. “We wanted to make sure it was something new and fresh and fun and totally worthwhile for all of our supporters year after year,” NKOTB member Donnie Wahlberg said. “This year, we are making it The Main Event. Tickets to the show aren’t available on Ticketmaster until Jan. 31, but PEOPLE has an exclusive mash-up from their respective catalogs below. (Ever wondered what a “No Scrubs” meets “Ride Wit Me” meets “Step by Step” compilation would sound like? The announcement is significant for the 3,750-capacity event center, which is among the smallest venue on a new tour that will stop at much larger venues such as Philadelphia’s 25,000-capacity Wells Fargo Center, where the band also played in 2013, and the Mixtape Festival in the 30,000-capacity HersheyPark stadium. It’s a show that might have been expected to play Allentown’s new 10,000-capacity PPL Center instead, especially with New Kids’ strong history with Allentown.

It started its career selling 20 million albums and having nine Top 10 hits in three years — six of which have gone gold or platinum, including the No. 1 songs “I’ll Be Loving You (Forever),” “Hangin’ Tough” and “Step by Step,” as well as “You Got It (The Right Stuff)” and “Cover Girl.” It’s also been able to sustain its popularity: Its last two albums, 2008’s “The Block” and 2013’s “10,” both hit the Top 10, as did a 2011 album with Backstreet Boys, “NKOTBSB.” The group, which started with five friends from the Boston area, still has its original lineup: Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood. Knight also hit gold with his 1999 self-titled album, which had the platinum Top 10 hit “Give It To You.” New Kids have not played in the Lehigh Valley as a group since two shows, each to sold-out crowds of 4,000, at Dorney Park in South Whitehall Township in 1989.
