Here’s the first trailer for Michael Fassbender’s Steve Jobs.

The Kerry native, who runs his own production company, DMC Film – as a sideline to his acting career, said he wants to take a step behind the camera and into the director’s chair. The Shame actor said that while he has come across plenty of projects he would like to direct himself, his main priority in DMC Film is to get them on screen. The half-German star, who is to play the title role in the upcoming biopic on Apple boss Steve Jobs, also revealed that Hollywood life isn’t for him. Elsewhere, the cast includes Michael Stuhlbarg as Andy Hertzfeld, Jeff Daniels as Apple CEO John Sculley, Adam Shapiro as Avie Tevanian, and Kate Winslet as a former marketing chief.

Fassbender recently brushed off criticism by Hollywood writer Aaron Sorkin, who said “the world isn’t going to care” if he was cast in the Jobs film.
