Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, Take Note: 11 TV Co-Star Couples Who Have Defied the Odds.

The Voice fans everywhere were shouting “I knew it!” when it was confirmed that coaches and are officially dating. It is not often a publicist just comes right out and confirms that two celebrities who everyone thinks might possibly be dating . . . are, in fact, dating.

Soon after that initial excitement, of course, came the worry every TV fan has when they learn two stars from their favorite show have entered a romantic relationship: What happens if they break up?! But such is the case with Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, both members of The Voice judging panel, both recently divorced from partners who are also music-industry veterans (Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale, respectively).

Fortunately for fans of the NBC reality hit, we have some good news: There are co-stars-turned-couples that have managed to make it work while working together. After grainy pictures surfaced (they’re always grainy!) of Stefani and Shelton “canoodling” at a Halloween party over the weekend, followed by Stefani’s flying out to Nashville with Shelton for the C.M.A.

Shelton, who performed at the live show on ABC, confirmed Wednesday just hours before the awards show that he and his fellow “Voice” mentor Gwen Stefani are dating. “On a completely unrelated topic, howdy Blake?” Paisley replied. The camera panned to Shelton who laughed and clapped his hands, along with the audience. “Did you hear that duet that Blake did with Ashley Madison?” Paisley asked, earning laughs from the audience at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Sparks quickly flew between Prince Charming and Snow White’s real-life counterparts on Once Upon a Time, with Dallas and Goodwin becoming a couple soon after the show began in 2011. But the statement came, anyway! “Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating,” Stefani’s spokesperson told Us Weekly. Lots to digest here (Us Weekly is no doubt in a state of emergency today—“SCRAP NEXT WEEK’S KOURTNEY AND SCOTT COVER, PEOPLE!!!!!!”), and we will probably be dealing with repercussions for years and years out (“Zuma Rossdale Speaks Out on the Eve of His 27th Birthday About Mom’s 2010s Romance with Blake Shelton”).

Additionally, all four participants here make music, so there is a chance each one of them could release songs about this Stefani-Shelton relationship at some point (this could be like a tabloid, music-related, real-life version of The Affair!). And you just know there is an all-day writer’s session today at NBC devised to craft one-liners Adam Levine can employ for the rest of this season’s The Voice tapings. Josh Bowman and Emily VanCamp: While Daniel ended up shooting Emily on their wedding night on Revenge, Bowman and VanCamp have had a far less dramatic relationship then their on-screen counterparts. Jared Padalecki and Genieve Padalecki: The cute parents-of-two tied the knot in February 2010 after meeting on the set of his hit CW series, Supernatural, on which she played his love interest/nemesis, Ruby.

Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser: While her Mad Men character’s time on the show came to a tragic end, she left with a real-life happy ending as Bledel and Kartheiser wed in a top-secret ceremony in August 2014. We never—it was nothing, it was just work.” Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis: OK, so these two technically didn’t become a couple while they were actually working together on That ’70s Show (though Kutcher was her first kiss ever!)they began dating in 2012 and things got serious pretty fast. Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q: While the CBS drama Stalker was canceled after just one season, its two stars managed to find love, with McDermott popping the question after less than a year of dating. Trai Byers and Grace Gealey: While her character has hooked up with his on-screen father AND brother, Gealey revealed in October that she and her Empire co-star Byers were engaged during on appearance on FABLife.

Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin: One of the more recent couplings on our list, it was revealed in September that the Gotham co-stars are expecting their first child together after falling in love while filming the first season of their Fox series.
