Brooks Ayers Is Caught in One of the Worst Reality-TV Lies Ever and Vicki Gunvalson Could Be Just as Guilty.

During Bravo’s Brooks Tell All special which aired tonight, the controversial reality star sat down with Andy Cohen to discuss a variety of topics, including his cancer diagnosis and relationship with ex Vicki Gunvalson, much of which has already been brought to light (and some areas debunked) since the taping of the interview. For the past 10 seasons, the Real Housewives of Orange County star has shared her love life with cameras giving viewers an inside look into her marriage with now ex-husband Donn Gunvalson and of course her controversial romance with . And some of his words aren’t so nice. “I’ve forgiven her for all of the hurt that she’s caused,” Brooks says about Tamra Judge. “I would just ask ‘What have I ever done to her? What has she ever seen me do other than what she’s heard from exes?'” When it comes to Heather Dubrow, Ayers simply says, “Thank you for your support sincerely,” and adds that he’d tell Shannon Beador, “It’s not about you and your doctor visits and doing all of this research. It’s about me being healthy.” But when came up, a co-star who has been very adamant about trying to get to the bottom of what was going on with his sickness, he kept it short and not so sweet.

I watched so much footage of Vicki Gunvalson, Meghan King Edmonds, Shannon Beador, Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow in that short amount of time, I thought my head was going to explode. News, “Brooks seemed nice enough and had the Southern charm but I always felt like he was searching to latch onto someone or ride on someone’s coattails.

Vicki later blogs about how strong her marriage is. “When Donn read me the vows he wrote, I was so happy,” she explained. “Hearing how he respects me and loves me is worth everything to me. He loves me for who I am and isn’t looking for me to make changes to make him happy.” October 2010: Vicki filed for dissolution of marriage from Donn in Orange County Superior Court. It was quite the surprise for viewers especially after the vow renewal. “When we decided to stay together, we felt we needed to restart on a clean slate,” Vicki shared on her blog. He finally broke his silence on the controversy and spoke out for the first time just yesterday. “Words cannot express the deep regret that I have in fabricating documents to ‘prove’ to the world that I, in fact, have cancer.

I acted alone, without Vicki’s knowledge, to produce documents for a reality TV show in hopes of putting doubts about my cancer to rest,” Ayers told E! So, I mean, those are the questions.” Gunvalson’s own credibility has come into question since the bombshell reveal, while Ayers’ integrity will be forever tarnished. I don’t think how this went down was treated with class or dignity and I deserve both.” Feb. 7, 2012: In the season seven premiere, Vicki introduces her new man Brooks into the picture. In later episodes, however, her daughter makes it clear that she is not thrilled with mom’s choice. “With all the s–t that’s on the Internet about him.

You don’t say that.” May 1, 2012: Vicki surprises Briana and her new husband Ryan by introducing them to Brooks. “I feel like I know you already,” Brooks said in the totally awkward clip. “I think it’s pretty interesting that two midwestern women came to California to find two Southern men. He seemed grateful for the reality show experience, even though most of the world believed him to be a liar, and when I asked him if he would consider doing even more reality TV, he said he would.

He used the same phrases over and over again: it’s just “a game of telephone,” they “lied” and “they don’t have my best interests at heart.” But being a fame whore and possibly a misogynist doesn’t necessarily mean you would also fake cancer. I spent the weekend re-watching everything, scouring blogs and comment sections and going through tweets, and I started keeping a list of inconsistencies. She’d go to the bathroom and [a text ] would pop up: Brooks Ayers, Happy Thanksgiving…I just want you to own it.” June 17, 2013: After the cast thought Vicki and Brooks had broken up, he appeared at a salsa party where Lauri Waring Peterson dropped an allegation. “One of our daughters came to me and said that Brooks was dating one of her friends,” Lauri explained. “This friend of my daughter, she gets paid to do some very questionable activities. It happens to be the castmembers who were questioning because they didn’t get the time to meet him,” she told us. “It’s definitely important for everyone in my life to be in acceptance of who I’m with.

I began by asking about the most obvious inconsistency from our first interview, something that the Twitterverse had gone to town on: His claim that his non-Hodgkin lymphoma had reduced from being at stage 3 to stage 2. Aug. 16, 2015: After four years of dating on and off, the couple officially called it quits on Facebook. “After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship,” the statement partly read. “We both wish nothing but a great future for each other.” Brooks later told E! Nov. 11, 2015: Vicki tells a Twitter follower that she will never “ever speak to him again.” However, a source close to Vicki believes she’s “absolutely still in love with Brooks. Red Flag 5: He said that he was not meant to travel for a week or two after having his three chemotherapy treatments, but I brought up evidence where he had in fact traveled soon after, on several occasions.

Red Flag 6: He told me that not one of the women had actually asked him outright about his cancer and so he hadn’t had a chance to explain his illness properly to them. And we went over all of them during that second interview, as well as some disturbing allegations about what was really going on behind closed doors between Brooks and Vicki, stories of physical and verbal abuse and his creepy behavior around Vicki’s daughter, Briana. Brooks was already portrayed on RHOC as a shady, villainous character, but Vicki is the “OG of the OC.” She has millions of fans and has long been admired for her resilience and business acumen.

She claimed in the reunion that she felt duped by Brooks, that she had fabricated the story about Brooks needing an IV in the middle of the night because she wanted compassion. And then there’s the smoking gun, the on-the-record tall tale that no amount of tears and playing the sympathy card can possibly get her out of: her claim that she sat with Brooks for four hours while he got chemo at City of Hope.

If at some point in the future it is definitively proven that Brooks lied about having cancer, then this isn’t just a sad story about the lengths some people will go to for fame and attention.
