Chris Pratt And Melissa McCarthy Reveal Their First (And Worst) Head Shots.

Before he starred in Guardians of the Galaxy and she in Bridesmaids, Chris Pratt and Melissa McCarthy were two working actors trying to take a decent headshot. On the latest episode of BBC’s The Graham Norton Show, McCarthy and Pratt sat down with Norton who dug up some of the duo’s old headshots, Vanity Fair reports.

United Press International is a leading provider of news, photos and information to millions of readers around the globe via and its licensing services. Pratt said he was in a West Hollywood post office when a man approached him about taking his picture: “This guy was like, ‘you look familiar, have I shot you?’ and I was like ‘I’ve never been shot.'” The man offered to photograph Pratt, he accepted and was given the roll of film. “I have no idea how you got those,” McCarthy told host Graham Norton in reference to her two headshots. “I literally thought I had the only two hard copies and when you sent them to me I thought, ‘dear god, they’re out there.'” McCarthy credited her commercial agent to the two character photos, which resulted in a headshot of her with tongue out, granny glasses on and hair frizzy (when she was 26) and another with country-themed props. “I’m in like a full sweat,” McCarthy said when Norton revealed the second photo, which showed McCarthy with a short-haired wig, miniature cowboy hat and dangly cowboy boot earrings. “That is from western Barbie. In the clips (the full episode airs on BBC America on June 6), Pratt tells the story of moving to Hollywood and knowing that he needs photos, but not knowing any photographers and having no money to pay for the pictures anyway.

With a history of reliable reporting dating back to 1907, today’s UPI is a credible source for the most important stories of the day, continually updated – a one-stop site for U.S. and world news, as well as entertainment, trends, science, health and stunning photography. The Bridesmaids actress was also recently in the news for taking a stand against shopping malls segregating plus sized clothing from regular size clothing stores. While she wasn’t keen on the idea, she dutifully trotted out “Carol,” one of the characters she had been developing with the sketch comedy troupe the Groundlings. “Carol” handed out cheese samples in a grocery store for a living—and looked like it. But seriously, you have to feel for a woman who is forced to sit through a slideshow of her most embarrassing photos ever in front of Jude Law and Chris Pratt.

The best reaction was definitely Bishop’s though, as he makes sure to point out to Pratt: Yes, maybe Pratt could’ve spent a little more time exploring Britain rather than watching it on a scripted reality TV show. We’ve seen snippets of Chris Pratt humor shine through in the trailer for the upcoming feature, but it is definitely showing another side to the funny man that we can’t wait to see.
