‘Gotham’ news: Co-stars Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin are having a baby.

“Today, I am in a new committed relationship. The Brazilian-born actress hid her baby bump behind a scarlet Reem Acra lace gown and she added to her outfit an empire waist and a flowing chiffon skirt while she attended the FOX’s 2015 Emmy’s after party along with “Gotham” co-star and boyfriend Ben McKenzie.Failing to evade fans, the actor was recently spotted with his new Brazilian partner as they celebrated together at the 2015 Emmys at Fox’s post-award show party. Their baby is McKenzie’s first child while it’s the second for Baccarin who has a one-year-old son named Julius Setta Chick with former husband Austin Chick. Although the couple had not been packing on the PDA, the co-stars were said to be having a light conversation and mingling together as they kept an unfussy profile for their budding romance.

TMZ reported last month that Chick, whom Baccarin was married to for three years, is attempting to gain physical custody of their nearly 2-year-old child along with spousal support from her $1.5 million annual earnings. Ben and Morena first stated working together on the Fox drama in late 2014 and their characters became romantically involved towards the end of the show’s first season.

This actually isn’t the first time that Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin worked together, they both starred on the drama “The O.C.” many years ago, but in a recent interview Ben revealed that he didn’t even remember Morena being on the set of teen sudser – apparently she didn’t make a lasting impression on him. Ben has never been married, and has always been notoriously private about his relationships in the past, stating in the January issue of Elle that he was single but he has “never had a problem being monogamous in a serious relationship”. Baccarin previously starred in “Homeland” as Jessica Brody—Nicholas Brody’s (Damian Lewis) wife who, in the first season, thought that her husband died in the Middle East during the war. Gotham, which is a prequel to Batman chronicles the life of Police Commissioner James Gordon, will debut it’s second season on Monday, September 21st.
