SYTYCD: Season 12 has a winner!.

FOX has not yet renewed “So You Think You Can Dance” for Season 13, but if the network does go forward with the dancing competition series, would you like to see it again be Stage vs. The four remaining dancers Gaby, Hailee, Jaja, and Virgil were reunited with the rest of the season’s Top 20 in a night of celebration and suspense.

Season 12, which concluded on Monday (Sept. 14) with Gaby Diaz’s win, was the first time “SYTYCD” pitted stage dancers versus street dancers until only one contestant from each group remained. Before the results of America’s votes were revealed, the judges, Top Four and team captains chose their favorite performances of the season to come back. Payne was a judge favorite this season, dazzling them with everthing from star-quality Broadway and robot-inspired hip-hop to emotion-laden contemporary and power-filled jazz. “There is no one quite like you,” executive producer Nigel Lythgoe told Payne earlier in the season. “It’s not just your body; it’s in your mind and your soul, too. Here is some of her interview: “I was actually watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with my dad and I saw the Radio City Rockettes and I said to my dad, ‘I want to do that.’ I was 4 years old. “(My mom) totally supports it, but my mom was a softball player and volleyball player, so she wanted me to go down that path.

Then Paula Abdul chose the Talia Favia piece for Megz and Edson along with Jaja and Ricky in the Broadway number to “Let’s Face the Music and Dance.” Team Captain tWitch chose Stacey Tookey’s piece for Gaby and Neptune as his favorite. So I actually played softball up until I was 12. … It just got down to a point where my parents couldn’t financially afford both … and that’s when I ended up picking dance. … I’m so glad I did now.” “Growing up, (dance) kind of made me the person that I am today. So I definitely would say never give up and don’t be too hard on yourself. “I am a perfectionist. … It’s hard on me because I think I have to be perfect. Then it came time to find out who takes the title of “America’s Favorite Dancer.” After the performances we were left with finalists Gaby and Jaja.
