Funny Or Die Parodies Duggar Scandal: “He Mistaked Two Girls on Their Too-Toos” (Video).

A US newspaper had an online fail after their site was spammed by multiple picture of a reality TV star currently mired in child sex abuse allegations. The real Duggars are currently dealing with the fallout following the revelation that 27-year-old Josh molested five young girls when he was 14 – which the family then covered up for years.Funny Or Die has published a scathing parody of the Duggar family in the wake of Josh Duggar’s molestation allegations, mocking the family’s take on birth control, Christianity and homosexuality.

In the skit the actors – who look uncannily like the 19 Kids And Counting stars – bemoan how they and Josh are really the only ones affected, claim the accusers are probably lying, and even admit that there were further victims – including more of Josh’s own sisters. ‘The point is we handled it, okay?,’ Michelle insists. ‘When we were first told about Josh’s mistakes, we did the right thing and we ignored the girl who came forward.’ Jim goes on to claim that girls ‘lie all the time’, like when one of his daughters (he can’t remember which, J-something) told him there was a frog in one of their 16 industrial washing machines. ‘Here’s the thing, some other girls did come forward,’ Michelle admits, ‘and some of them were our daughters, but honestly if you asked me which one I don’t know… the brunette with the curly hair?’ ‘Homosexuals prey on children and they do not deserve to walk on God’s green Earth!’ Michelle declares, suddenly losing her signature soft-spoken tone. ‘Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. In a no-holds-barred spoof, comics Erin Gibson and Greg Jones portray the controversial Christian parents and address the sexual abuse scandal surrounding their now 27-year-old son. “We would like to talk to you America because our son is in a pickle,” they tell the camera. “When Josh was a teenager he made a mistake. Part of a strict Baptist movement, the strain of which emphasises female submission, modesty, rejection of higher education for women, home-schooling and a shunning of contraception, Duggar is the eldest of Patrick Jim Bob and wife Michelle’s 19 children. TLC pulled has since pulled it’s top-rated series from its network lineup, as has Hulu, while TLC is considering a spin-off starring the two married Duggar daughters as a way of shifting attention away from the main family.

Meanwhile, major advertisers have withdrawn their backing for the beleaguered reality show, including Discount retailer Payless Shoesource; Choice Hotels International which owns chains such as Comfort Inn, Quality Inn; Pharmacies Walgreens and CVS; as well as food giant General Mills, whose brands include Cheerios, Häagen-Dazs, Yoplait, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury and Green Giant. He added: “We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling [sic].” Duggar, 27, who has appeared with his family on TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting,” resigned from his position with the Family Research Council after the magazine’s story was released and issued a statement on the family’s Facebook page admitting to unspecified bad behavior as a teen.

Following real-life Josh Duggar’s admission, and released a statement via their family website saying their son’s “very bad mistakes” inspired them to draw closer to God.
