Fitness Model Struck And Killed By Train In Southern California.

Fitness model and television actor Greg Plitt was struck and killed by a commuter train in Burbank, California, on Saturday while filming on the tracks, police said on Sunday. It’s not clear if Plitt himself changed his cover photo, but the time and date connected with the photo reads, “Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:53 a.m.” His profile photo was changed at that time as well. Plitt, who starred in Bravo network shows “Work Out” and “Friends to Lovers,” was hit by a Metrolink passenger train and pronounced dead at the scene, said Burbank Police Sergeant Chris Canales.

Plitt was described on his website as an “actor, model, entrepreneur and motivational speaker” who had appeared on more than 250 fitness magazine covers. He was also featured on “Days of Our Lives” and has appeared in a number of commercials. “We couldn’t take our eyes off Greg Plitt after we cast him on ‘Work Out’ — was as nice as he was beautiful,” Andy Cohen tweeted on Sunday. “Seemed invincible, like Superman.”

Investigators, who interviewed witnesses who saw Plitt standing on the track even as the train’s horn was blaring, have ruled out a suicide, he said.
