Harley’s got her gun! ‘Suicide Squad’ set photos show Joker and Harley Quinn in a lover’s tiff.

The newest photos from the Suicide Squad set (which apparently has the worst security) show a pivotal scene between Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn and Jared Leto’s Joker, where the two are having an intense standoff. Jared “The Joker” Leto was photographed on the set of Suicide Squad in Toronto, Canada, on Sunday, May 17, and his villainous look is just as creepy as expected.

After seeing above, whatever apprehensions anyone may have about Leto’s Joker and Robbie’s Harley can be put to rest: their versions deserve all the anticipation and excitement they can generate. Awesome rendition of the duo, check out the link in bio for more. #Joker #HarleyQuinn #SuicideSquad #WB #DC #gotham #gothamcity #davidayer #thejoker #JaredLeto #MargotRobbie #WillSmith #Batman #30secondstomars #echelon #echelonfamily Harley’s still blonde and decked in normal clothes whereas the Joker is of course wearing a suit that matches his luxury sports car. The 30 Seconds to Mars singer, who shaved his eyebrows, cut off his signature ombre hair, and packed on muscle in preparation for the role, donned a revealing button-down shirt and fitted pants, showing off his chest muscles and character’s tattoos. While we don’t want to spoil any major plotlines, we can reveal the scene being filmed involved an argument centered between the Joker and Harley Quinn ().

Leto’s Clown Prince of Crime drives a purple Lamborghini that fittingly sports a license plate which reads “HAHAHA.” Earlier this month, the Dallas Buyers Club star showed off his bulging biceps in an Instagram photo. “Don’t make me punish you,” the actor captioned the selfie which served as picture-proof of his dedication for transforming himself into the role. Video of the set — which has already been taken down — shows Harley yelling at the Joker to get out of his car and trying to talk to him while he flamboyantly toys with her. Putting aside the new hair and makeup routine, the 43-year-old hunk has definitely bulked up and flaunted his pumped-up muscles on Instagram. “The opportunity to take on this nearly Shakespearean character—that’s what graphic novels and comic books are becoming, right?” he recently shared with Billboard. “[He’s] this beautiful disaster of a character. Fans have criticized this choice for basically spoon-feeding the audience information they would otherwise already know or at least glean on their own. What a big challenge.” You know Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s son likes to stand out and make an entrance, so it makes sense that when it came to the biggest dance of the year, Jaden was going to bust out a memorable outfit for the occasion.

It should be obvious to comic book fans that many villains are somehow damaged psychologically — that’s often the source of their evil behavior, or the whole point of their back story.
